Ravanastr - The Ebon Monk

This is the character we submitted for the character design challenge for January 2022. The theme is Bird Warrior.

He is a warrior for the church from the group called the Angus Dai. There is always only one Ravanastr until the current one dies then a new one is elected by the high council of the church.

He is trained since childhood to become a skilled warrior that takes upon his shoulder the burden to kill in the name of the church and punish the unjust and sinners. Usually he wears also a crown of thorns to always remember the blood of christ - the ultimate sacrifice made for humanity.
