Hazel wrung her hands as she looked down the street once more; people wandered by but none resembled the two boys she was supposed to meet up with. “You’re late,” she huffed, setting her hands on her hips, her eyes peering around him. “Where’s Steve?”
Bucky gave her a sheepish look and shrugged. “I walked him home, he wasn’t feeling all that well,” he replied, his hand moving to the back of his neck and looking up at the building.
“James Barnes, did he get into another fight?” she accused, her hand slapping his arm as her eyes widened.
