The pardoning of the Rogue Avengers could not have come at a worse time.
Tony knew that they needed a united front to be ready for any future attacks. He was all too aware. He just wished that they’d returned after he managed to get his man. He didn’t need anyone or anything getting in the way of his wooing.
With all of the Avengers under one roof once more, the only time Tony could get dibs on Peter was during their one-on-one sessions in the lab. Everywhere else they went was teeming with superheroes or employees, and Tony was sick of it. He missed having Peter to himself.

being on the receiving end of that resigned sigh would kill me
Hi everyone! Since I hit 8k this week, I decided to do a content creator appreciation post for all of my wonderful mutuals who make my dash the best place to be!
You’re always polite and kind with others. That makes people feel comfortable around you and many would consider you a close friend. However, you seldom feel connected with those around you. You feel like they don’t know you, the real you, and they never will because you’ll never allow them. It takes a great amount of time and trust for you to show yourself as you truly are, because you repress most of your feelings and desires, and mask them with a calm and collected personalty. It just seems easier that way, safer. But remember that if you bottle everything up, it will explode one day, maybe in ways you aren’t proud of.
