Tucker the saddest-looking cat is now happy to have a home

Meet Tucker the cat, dubbed as ‘The World’s Saddest-Looking Cat.’ Even though this lovely feline is looking like she’s gonna burst into tears at any time, she actually has a reason to celebrate: She’s found her forever home.

This is Loki. Yes, I named him Loki. Not because his personality was anything like the character from Avengers, but because he just simply resembled him.

Loki only stayed with me for about 6 days. He was wonderful. I still love him very much. Maybe soon I’ll put up his story.

RIP Loki.

Gizmo (soon 2 years old) has never ever caught a bird before. Today he did and he was the happiest and proudest cat I’ve ever seen.

I wish the cats would leave the birds alone, but when a cat shows up and is happy as a kitten, dying for praise, and meows at you out of sheer happiness, you just have to feel a little proud too.

The thing was, Gizmo didn’t know what to do with the bird when he finally caught it. He’s really good at catching water voles and as you might guess, they don’t come with feathers. So when he tried to eat the bird he just got mouthfuls of feathers until he got so frustrated he left the bird to Tintin (turns 2 years in less than a week) instead.

Tintin is the ultimate bird catcher. He is the bird expert! So he took care of the bird while Gizmo strutted around the lawn, tail held high, looking prouder than ever.

5 minutes later Felix (just turned 3 years) came home with one of the biggest water voles I’ve ever seen. The hunt seemed to have made him tired so instead of eating it he left it by the door and went inside to eat two bowls of cat food.

While he was gone Tintin stole the vole and started playing with it. By then I was just laughing at all the cat activity in the garden.

Gizmo wanted to play with the big vole too, but Tintin didn’t let him. That’s when baby Oliver (not yet 1 year old) turned up and stole the vole right in front of Tintin and Gizmo.

Oliver is not a big cat. He is noticeably smaller than the other three. Thus it looked even funnier when he - growling and hissing like a maniac - raced off with the giant water vole while the bigger cats couldn’t do a thing.

Oliver with the big water vole.

The story ended with Felix going outside again. When he couldn’t find his vole he seemed a bit sad for a while, but then he found Oliver with it. Even though Oliver is a tough little cat, Felix is the king. So Felix took back his vole and ate it. Dessert after two bowls of cat food, I guess.

Now the garden is calm again and I have to find something else to watch.
