An illustration for my AU! But i can’t write soo heres just a lil explanation:
Before planets, stars, or even galaxies existed there was only one being. It was everything and nothing until It has decided to be more. Was it kindness, to bring them into existence, or was it cruelty? The creations wondered, too afraid to ask. Perhaps because deep inside they knew it was nothing but boredom.
There are many Immortals, but for this story only these are important:
Philza – The God of The Sun and Life.
Kristin – The Goddess of The Moon and Death.
Technoblade – The God of Blood and War.
And Dream – a fraud. When God left it left behind the last creation - one made in its own image. Unfortunately, it forgot to mention what Dream’s purpose is.
To find the answer The Last God left his heavenly abode with no way back. Dream traveled in the mortal realm for centuries. He grew to know the world, its beauty and its worth, the ugliness that lurks underneath. More than anything he knew humans. How naïve and foolish they are, their life too short to grasp their own stupidity.
He saw the bloodshed they praised, corpses littering the earth. He caught glances of his old friend (rival?) on the battlefield – The God of War damned to mingle in the mortal’s affairs.
And then Dream has decided he understood his purpose. If he was made in the image of The Creator – the sole ruler of everything, perhaps his destiny was also to take charge. To lead the humans, to be their God. Dream The God of Mortals.
And it was easy. It was easy to bring emperors to their knees, make them beg for their life. To make thousands kneel before him, their eyes full of awe and fear. To lead armies into the fight, to expand his empire, to be completely in control. To be It.
But the other Immortals have decided to stop him. There was no reason to – Gods didn’t care about what happened in the mortal world. But Philza, the ever righteous, kind, annoying Philza couldn’t stand Dream’s tyranny. He left heavens, never to return – an Immortal who left forever lost their way back. Philza gave up his love to stop Dream - Gods of Sun and Moon were always separated by the shift of time - they could only see each other in the House of Gods.
Philza found an ally in his old friend Technoblade and together they were able to stop The Emperor. The empire fell but Dream escaped.
One day a miracle happened. Kristin came to Philza. She left The House of Gods. It was unbelievable since Goddes of Death could never truly go to the mortal realm, bound to the realm of the dead. Yet she did. For Philza, for their love. But she didn’t have much time. The Creator has only given her a decade – almost nothing for millennia-old immortals. It asked nothing in return but the smirk on its face made chills run down Kristin’s spine.
They lived happily during that decade. They even had two beautiful sons – Wilbur and Tommy. But then the day came for Kristin to go.
Wilbur grew up with books never leaving his hands. He dreamed of a better future for his kingdom, ready to do whatever he can to ensure prosperity and stability.
Tommy grew up a troublemaker with neverending energy and a sharp tongue. He dreamed of being by his brother’s side when Wilbur inherits the throne.
Dream kept a close eye on the two. Philza asked him to since his sons seemed to have special powers no ordinary guardian could help them with.

we’ve never properly gotten dreams POV like we have other characters on the smp
we only ever get to see him from the eyes of other characters, all of which agree he is a bad person
and obviously he is a bad person, the shit he did was fucked up
but of course people are going to assume that from day one when they have no idea what dreams reasoning is if they never get his POV and i honestly think that’s one of the interesting parts about his character for me
ALSO. I feel like we’re all just ignoring the fact that BOTH c!Eret and c!Wilbur’s betrayals were caused BY C!DREAM. In BOTH CASES, he was taking advantage of their situation to try and get rid of L'Manberg, which he didn’t want to exist in the first place.
Both betrayals were bad, but both were also the result of c!Dream’s manipulation. We gotta not lose sight of the fact that out of the three players here, HE was the actual villain behind it. HE was the one taking advantage of c!Eret’s fears about the war, HE took advantage of c!Wilbur’s obvious delusions and paranoia. c!Dream orchestrated everything so that L'Manberg would take itself out for him.

c!dream had them both convinced the nuclear option was the only one. we’re sitting here arguing about symptoms and ignoring the root disease completely in our discourse conversations. c'mon yallll
the oddest thing that nobody talks about is how during the disc finale stream cdream had that white shield with the vague gray lines on it .and i took that to be ccdream attempting to bring the smiley face mask into canon which is why when tommy made him drop his stuff he hesitated a little longer on the shield and it was supposed to be this dramatic moment of cdream losing the mask. but nobody even mentioned it or ever talks about it so i’ve never been sure if im just imagining the whole thing??? but what other reason would he have for the weird white shield
So dream just said that the whole “attachment bunker” or whatever it’s called was made just to fuck with tommy and not an actual attempt to gather everyone’s items together. He basically grabbed a random cow and sheep and slapped name tags and dye on them and grabbed beckerson, whom he already had
Now picture this: Punz.
Idk if he even helped with the bunker, but imagine if he did, and if dream told him what it really was

His boss comes to him like “hey help me design this room to play mind games in with a toddler” and just he just goes “alright sounds good man” and they design the skeppy cage
