In the past, I’ve talked about the history of my Ender Dragon Hybrid c!Dream, how he was basically raised by an Ender Dragon + Enderman for a long while before finally going to the overworld and meeting c!Bad.
Well, during this period where he was being raised, because he’s a founder (spawned in by a world glitch), he has the ability to understand most languages on a surface level without introduction. So, when Enderman brought him books from other dimensions, he was able to learn how to read and write quite quickly.
The problem is that while the Ender is a written language, the Ender Dragon wanted him to learn English first, as it’s the primary language of the server, and the Dragon knows that Dream will need to make contact with humans eventually. The problem is that neither the Dragon nor any of the Endermen actually know what English looks like when written. So the Endermen just grab some books that aren’t written in Ender and hope for the best.
The end result is that c!Dream’s first language was actually written Piglin, followed by Ender, and then finally English. Although verbally he learned Ender first, the English from c!Bad. Written Piglin is an extremely difficult language to learn, to the point where most piglin hybrids don’t actually know it, let alone anyone else.
So imagine c!Techno’s surprise, when he writes a note to himself in piglin to keep it secret, only to have c!Dream lean over his shoulder and start reading it out loud without any issues. c!Techno had suspicions about c!Dream being a founder, and they get 100% confirmed when Dream reveals that he can somehow read piglin fluently but barely speaks the language. He still didn’t see the Ender Dragon thing coming though. Nobody saw the Ender Dragon Thing coming.

So first thing, out of the three names we were given two of them are gods. That was Phil’s name of Zephyrus and the other mystery person’s name of Harpocrates. Techno’s name belonged to a hero, Protesilaus.
Now that’s strange for a few reasons mainly the whole “You want to be a hero Tommy? Then die like one” etc. Secondly, Protesilaus was part of a prophecy that said fist to land will die blah blah blah. Odysseus being the clever fuck he was decided nah mate imma land on my shield and Protesilaus was actually the first to step foot onto the land and was killed in a duel with Hector. Basically he was tricked. So… Techno u gonna become a hero in some sense? Maybe make an omelette? U gonna loose a cannon life?
Ok next. Phil. Zephyrus was the name we got for him and he is the Greek god of the west wind. Funny that PHILZA MINECRAFT, the one everyone draws with wings and calls the angel of death gets a god of WIND. That aint a coincidence. Not a chance in hell. Zephyrus was also known as the gentlest of the winds- Mr im going to fill in these creeper holes and get rid of this egg shit. As well as the fructifying (Which I had to look up, it means: make (something) fruitful or productive) wind and the messenger of spring. So spring, happy new beginnings etc being productive and doing spring cleaning. IDK this one just screams Phil to me. When I saw it the name looked familiar, I think it might be mentioned in percy Jackson but idk its been a while since I read it.
And the last one is Harpocrates (This one is in trials of apollo, I may have accidentally spoilt the books for me when researching though sad times), who didn’t show up. But Techno said “I don’t want to reveal the name of our fellow member until he feels like having his identity known.” The reason I’m pointing this out is because Harpocrates is the greek god of SILENCE, SECRETS and CONFIDENTIALITY… YEAH. I have also seen that he is sometimes called the embodiment of hope but idk how reliable that is.
So idk how these are going to be relevant or even if they will be plot wise other than code names. Like they could be little bits of information but it’s Techno he likes Greek mythology, which is why they’re used and why they could be plot relevant. But the way Phil’s fits his character and Harpocrates and what Techno said are linked because keeping identity confidential, makes me think they have a reason to be used I just can’t think of it right now.
Within the song his awareness expands, filters past the bark on the clearing’s trees, the animals hiding within the brush, out and away from this planet and its lonely colony of people. Into the great vastness of space: his own shapeless form, counting stars and moons and black holes.
“–d you fall asleep?" Wilbur’s affronted voice cracks like a whip, shattering the trance. Tommy’s entire body jerks, eyes flying open; just like that, he’s snapped back into his shell, condensed and compacted.
