Finally drew Klara, one of the two main characters in a novel-that-may-become-a-graphic-novel project, which I’ve had shelved until recently, called Toothpick (working title).

His name is Martin Danvas. Martin, his mom chose for him. Danvas, he gave the wizard he played as in dungeons and dragons as a kid. He introduces himself as such at one point, completely ignoring the fact that it’s a made up name. All his friends call him that. He seems like he doesn’t care.
First Guardian Vahyadu the Vast
Founder of the biotic temple. He died long before Jagged-Tooth ever went there to study, passing more than a millennia ago as an ancient and venerated Yautja.
Isei and I were talking about fat yautja after she drew hers, and egged me on to draw one, haha. I like the idea of Vahyadu being large, because I wrote that a lot of biotic yautja are very thin because they expend a lot of energy to use their powers. He doesn’t worry about that.
The concept of fat yautja is neat and it makes sense to me. You’ve had large people who were athletes and warriors all throughout history, and size doesn’t mean you can’t be strong or agile.
Mas y Manos - Kal, age 20 and 30
Kal was always big but not always in the exact same way. Some thoughts.
The Fox Den is a male strip joint in central Los Templos. He only worked there for a little while, but he did alright. People still call him “Big Kal” around town. Heck, he’s been called that since he was a kid anyway, though with different connotation. Mechipino, though, no one calls him that anymore haha. He probably prefers it that way.
Mechipino is his play on mechicano and pilipino tho there was also undoubtedly the occasional pepino/cucumber joke thrown in here and there. Definitely a first pass stage name.
I just like thinking that he went to an underground fight in his twenties, saw men with big muscles duking it out, and he, feeling frustrated with his life and seeing a possible outlet, said, “me too, please, I want to be big and fight.”
“You’re already big, Kal.”
“I want to be built like a fridge then.”
Can I sneakily invent a meme where y'all just send me inspiration pictures or vendor pages of garb that you think would look good for my Landsknecht character?
This is deeeefinitely just the organic generation of a fun new game, not an effort to make the community develop a kit for a research burned-out landsknechtkender, noooope, naaaah.
Goblin Week 2022: GOBLIN #6!!
A Redlow Goblin with a gun … honestly I don’t know what to expect. But he seems happy.
