Throwback Thursday! The duo! They are both badass, but very afraid of chickens.
While building these guys, I never pictured robo Link as the star of his own game, but pictured that these characters are brought into the world by Ganon from an alternate dimension? So I have a million things on my plate, but thats when, of course, you get the best ideas. Ideas for these pieces is to have the G1 Autobot+Decepticon “Big Base” robots facing off over 2 prints, covered in their respective armies.
I had many of the toys growing up , including the terracon base, lunchboxes with some super cool art on em, but only had access to part of the cartoon series on VHS tapes. When I get around to painting these, I’d love to buy binge the show.

Sketch for one of my next paintings. There will be SO much neon light in this by the time I’m done. When I was younger, I hated when paintings took more than a solid day to complete- now that I’m older and wiser, I crave larger scale projects and more little details. Going to cram so many little stories into this st.

The Turks are licking their wounds after a long day fighting off the enemies of Shinra Corp. Sector 5 Slums has the best Ramen joint under the plate! they use real cactuar juice!

I’m working with the great team over at @drop , making artwork inspired by some incredible looking keyboards and keycaps. After seeing what these guys can do, I’m suddenly very unhappy and underwhelmed by my normal boring keyboard…

Orbital Frame Jehuty.
ZOE was one of my very fist games on the PS2, I bought it specifically because it had the “Metal Gear Solid 2” demo disc included. But cool mechs were always a bonus.
Almost every painting I do, I plan on potentially making into a 2 or 3 piece set. I don’t know if that came from selling art (bundles always sell well) or if I just like painting “series” rather than one off pieces. I finished the Anubis painting a while back and am happy to finally have this finished and together as a pair. (Available online my store as well, link in bio)
