Honestly LOVING how CRWBY this volume is just…consistently dismantling all the dumb arguments people keep repeating to shit on the show
“how the hell did team rwby win against the ace ops? they’re the best huntsmen in atlas!!” did you not get it? let’s have one of the characters literally develop a new superpower to psychoanalyse them and say that it was because they suck at working as a team! out loud!
“ironwood was right, team rwby should have listened to him!” bro you really think he’s the good guy after the severe neglect of mantle in volume 7? after all the stuff we set up circa volume 2-3?? well we gotta fix that, here’s him shooting people unprompted and blackmailing these literal kids to hand over their friend! and it’s still in character for him!
“cinder’s so useless, she keeps losing fights!!” ya!! because she keeps charging blindly into battle and not using her head! other characters also know this! it was intentional!
I apologize for the Cinder Fall post. When I posted it I didn’t realize that today marks 4 years since Monty Oum, the creator of RWBY, passed away, and that the joke could be seen as being in incredibly poor taste.
