Feather duster for my helmet! Did a small thin metal piece that’ll hold all the feather in place! Mannnn I have a feeling that I gotta start collecting feather to replace these soon.
Visor are typically latched down, either over the pin, or into a cored out hole in the pin. I find these to be absolutely fascinating as It takes so much precision to even get the latch to close everytime.
That and I wonder..would the latch lock my head In if it was struck hard enough
Many armors in the museum has minor imperfections, dents, ridges not perfectly straight, edges not evenly smooth, and its all proof that each and every piece were crafted by the skilled hands of a master of their craft. I often embrace these marks of human touch rather than the perfect industrial clean cut machine work.

Went for a walk to test out my new helmet! Took photos with neighbour’s, helped a biker cross the road, put back up a lawn sign with my dagger, ahh a nice walk indeed.
