Marbled Monday

This Marbled Monday we’re sharing the cover of a book we posted about recently for Wood Engraving Wednesday! The book isAbd-er-Rhaman in Paradise byJules Tellier, translated by Brian Rhys, with wood-engravings by Paul Nash. You can find the wood engravings in our previous post. This edition was published in 1928 by the Golden Cockerel Press in an edition of 400 copies—ours is copy 16.

This marbling technique is called feather, and it’s easy to see why!

over on patreon Tama asked for: great big eldritch horrorbeast who’s a flustered mess because of their crush on little squishy human.

and Shannon Leigh Legler asked for: limping along but still strong.

so here are the protagonists for the saucy monster girl comic I’m currently writing/thumbnailing for the upcoming Iron Circus Anthology. Feather is a multidimensional angelic(???) being whose self can not be physically perceived by most mortals.  Orlando is a nonbinary lesbian monster fucker in their thirties who likes a challenge and has almost been murdered or cursed to death many times because of course they have. together they try to figure out where the hell Feather’s vagina even is.
