Went for a walk to test out my new helmet! Took photos with neighbour’s, helped a biker cross the road, put back up a lawn sign with my dagger, ahh a nice walk indeed.
A rear-closing standard or maille collar in the 15th century English style (with some small liberties taken). The throat portion is 6 in 1, while the mantle is 4 in 1, all made from 8mm rings, primarily steel decorated with brass. The rings around the throat were all riveted with brass rivets for a little extra flair.
The leather interliner and straps have been dyed to match, and the liner is made from several layers of linen faced with red silk.
