Kind Eatery, Morningside

Drinks pictured: Iced latte ($6.5) and flat white ($5).

Visited Kind Morningside during the holidays. They are a plant based eatery, and serve Common Good Coffee which was good! They also have indoor and outdoor seating, and I really like the hanging plants that are inside!

I-Press, Mt Eden Village

Drink pictured: Flat white ($5)

Been to I-Press once when they first opened (2017?), a second time about a year ago, and again recently. They serve Bespecialty coffee, which was good. It’s a very spacious cafe, with upstairs seating, and a few outdoor seats downstairs, though they do open up the doors during hotter days, so even if you are sitting inside downstairs, it feels like you are outside anyway! Also love that door with all the greenery around it (3rd photo)!

Ambler Cafe & Bistro, Point Chevalier

Drinks pictured: Iced latte ($6.5), Iced americano ($6.5) and iced matcha latte ($6.5).

Some photos from Ambler in Point Chev, where I had a greatly-appreciated iced latte on a humid day.

Geeks on Sainsbury, Mt Albert

Drink pictured: Cold drip coffee ($6)

Went to Geeks on Sainsbury yesterday. They serve Ozone Coffee. Had a cold drip which was pretty good, with a perfectly round block of ice in it. My last coffee of the year was a cold brew at home, and with that, hoping every one has a good New Years Eve and New Years Day! See you in 2022!

Altar Cafe, Mt Eden

Drink pictured: Flat white ($4.7)

I have known about this cafe for a couple of years but only made it in recently when I reached work very early one day. It was muuuuch larger than I expected with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve Atomic Coffee which was pretty good!

Fluff Cafe, Grafton

Drinks pictured: Flat whites ($4.5)

I found out about Fluff Cafe just before the lockdown and got to go there this past weekend. They serve Sorted Coffee, which was so delicious I had 2 flat whites! The cafe interior is also very cute, and I really liked the Loveramics cups that they served our coffees in.

Neighbour, Grey Lynn

Drinks pictured: Flat white ($5) and hot chocolate ($5)

Some photos from Neighbour in Grey Lynn. They serve Kōkako coffee, which was good! They have indoor and outdoor seating. I have been there once last year and a second time this year quite recently, so the photos are from both times. There were like 5-6 dogs there when I visited recently, which was pretty exciting, though I don’t have photos of any.

Williams Eatery, Auckland CBD

Drinks pictured: Iced Lattes and Iced Americano.

Sunny day iced coffees from Williams Eatery, from the weekend before we entered the Traffic Light system.

Okay hi I didn’t post yesterday but it was in fact Wednesday so:

☕ Wednesday Coffee Shop Adventures! I went to a really popular local place–so popular there’s two of them on the same street like two doors apart if I understand correctly?–and it was really good! I had a fantastic latte (I’m not usually an unflavored coffee drinker bc it’s not quite sweet enough for me but it was really good) and a Rolo brownie and good vibes

I’ve been stressed the last couple days bc I’m trying to arrange a meeting/visit with my aunt and grandmother for this weekend but they’re so far away and it’s all a bit complicated. I think we’ve finally got something sorted though so hopefully it all works out (it’ll just be a really early trip for me on Saturday :( )
