I guess it takes a bit of time for very small kids to comprehend other people’s discomfort. I got my comeuppance when my nieces were born and did the same to me - I got kicked in the face by toddlers many many times.
I recently found a picture of Amanda (I was in a habit of calling dogs human names) and got very sentimental. I know a lot of you have special connections with your current pets and the ones that you grew up with so I felt like it might resonate. I think Amanda taught me a lot about kindness and love as a child. Pets are so good.
I can’t complain - I got the bunny that I wanted in the end XD. This is another one of those times where what happened didn’t really click for me until I got older. So funny! Little me was very gullible.

The last time I visited my childhood home (my family doesn’t live there anymore) was also the first time I came back in years and everything looked SO small in comparison to how I remembered it. The bathtub felt more like a pool when I was little XD.
Anyone else do this to check if people can hear the music from your headphones? I am always paranoid that it’s just loud enough for people to know when I’m obsessively listening to the same track again and again haha.
There’s just something very cosy and comforting about watching a movie at night - especially in good company. It always makes me even more sleepy, I can’t help it!!
I listen to a lot of metal and gothic rock and sometimes find the contrast of what I draw with what I listen to a bit amusing haha. What kind of music do you guys like? Anyone wanna recommend me your favourite music artist? Doesn’t matter what genre. I do like gothy sounding things like The Birthday Massacre, and Disturbed is my favourite band XD but my music library is very eclectic and I’m always looking for new stuff.
I am always amazed by how well servers remember orders - I have an awful memory myself so I’m very impressed by stuff like that. It can also sometimes make me feel self conscious about how often I go to a food place . Nothing to do with the servers themselves, they’re doing a great job - just me reevaluating my eating habits haha
I hate that feeling when you can FEEL the thought/idea slipping from your mind and you’re trying to hang on to it for dear life.. and then it’s GONE. Arghhhh.
I feel like this one might be a bit too real?? haha. But gotta get comics like this out of my system sometimes. Dealing with stress and anxiety whatever way I can. I for some reason feel like I need control over EVERYTHING that’s happening in my life (which is why I obsessively make to-do lists etc., even when they don’t help) so I’ve noticed that when things get VERY stressful, I start to zero-in on some very specific task (like organizing my books, folding clothes, making music playlists). It helps me feel like I’m chipping away at getting things in order. Anyone relate to this feeling?
I don’t like buying new things unnecessarily so oftentimes just end up with things literally falling apart before I get a replacement. I’ve had these headphones for … 10 years I think?? I don’t know how they still work. They don’t… look good XD. But they’re comfy and they still work. I refuse to get new ones hahahaha.
My parents don’t have a garden anymore but Mama’s love for plants will never go away - so every small apartment they live in always has a billion pots. Last time I visited - they had a little pot of strawberry plants and my dad brought some berries to me just like he used to do when I was very little. Everyone always brought me lil snacks cause I was the baby :’)
Do you ever have this thing where you have a bowl of fruit or some cookies or some sort of food and when you look at it you make up your mind which EXACT one you will eat? And then someone takes it and you’re like >:0! How dare.
How many pillows do you normally sleep with? I always have probably too many pillows. I must make a nest around myself whenever possible. I’ve heard it’s not good for your back (?) so I will probably pay for it later.
