Food during WYD

The organization wants to present the traditional Polish food to WYD pilgrims.

From 26th to 29th of July there will be 17 food and beverage zones, (including Campus Misericordiae).
In this 8 zones by Caritas Polska serving pierogi, bigos, grilled sausages, oscypki, fast food, as well as coffee, tea, a wide selection of beverages.

The zones in Campus Misericordiae will function noon-midnight, they will stay open longer if needed. Meals in Campus Misericordiae will be distributed in exchange for tickets. 

For pilgrims without tickets, prices will be similar to existing prices.

How to deal with Polish people?

• To say hello polish people shake her hands and see each other to the eyes.
  
• In Poland the Toilet Iconography is particular: Circle-Woman, Triangle-Man
  
  

• There are some useful phrases that can help you in Polish language - check out the “useful phrases”, or “most useful phrases in polish”.
  
• No matter if there are no cars coming, in Poland, you can get a fine if you pass the crosswalk while the traffic light is in red, so please be patient and wait for the green light.
  

• Currencyexchange takes place in Kantorswhere you can also check foreign exchange rates. Avoid exchanging currency in the street with unknown people.
  

• Euros are accepted in some locals in Krakow.
