Fugue Identity by Sagmeister & Walsh.

New York design agency Sagmeister & Walsh has designed an interactive visual identity for cloud software management brand Fugue, that works like the software does: it constantly regenerates itself while data moves from one point to another. Since the company is about constant regeneration and evolution, Sagmeister and Walsh developed an application that allows them to import any SVG file so they can easily create new patterns and illustrations over time as needed. When you import a line drawing the application automatically generates it in the same language of the logo.

My comics output of 2019. The year started off with the collected editions of DAYS OF HATE Vol.2, THE NEW WORLD, and THE WEATHERMAN Vol.1; and the release of THE WEATHERMAN Vol.2 issues #1–5 (#6 drops in February 2020). And then Marvel and the X-Men came knocking and I’ve spent the best part of the year designing the new X-Men master brand and identity, the complete publication design language for the franchise and the logos for all the new series relaunching the X-Men family of books; and worked alongside Jonathan Hickman creating the now ubiquitous “data pages” that runs through the series.

More is coming in 2020. Stay tuned!

CIFF RAVEN
FORUM, Copenhagen
Fall/Winter 2015-16

Rapport is curated by Pierre Tzenkoff & Arnaud Vanraet.

Rapport is a store. The overall looks on view encapsulate some of the strongest designs to have emerged in recent times: Rapport provides a window onto the context in which creative output and razor-sharp design are thriving in Copenhagen, with stylemakers championing new codes of dress at the vanguard of fashion, articulated by a strong, fresh visual identity that is solely their own.

Rapport curation consists of a collective of artists, musicians and creative individuals working both inside and outside fashion, which means that the influences and inspirations behind each presentation are authentically driven and completely original.

CRYSTAL HALL Malcolm McLaren & OFF-WHITE c/o Virgil Abloh Exhibition Spring/Summer 2015, Copenhagen During Copenhagen Fashion Week in August, CIFF, COPENHAGEN INTERNATIONAL FASHION FAIR will present the fourth edition of the Crystal Hall, an exhibition that brings the most talented fashion designers and artists (AMI, Art Comes First, Gosha Rubchinskiy…) to a unique venue in Scandinavia each season. For this edition of The Crystal Hall, creative directors Pierre Tzenkoff and Arnaud Vanraet will present two outstanding and influential creators of fashion, Malcolm McLaren and Virgil Abloh. These multitalented artists have both found unique and innovative ways of capturing the zeitgeist and inspiring street culture. Like punk pioneer Malcolm McLaren, youth culture ambassador Virgil Abloh translates his vision into fashion, music and creative concepts, drawing on current vibes and creating references and influences that leave a lasting mark on the fashion and luxury industry. This unique exhibition showcases their groundbreaking designs and artworks, many of them shown for the first time in Europe. Malcolm McLaren “Let It Rock: The Look of Music. The Sound of Fashion.” In association with the Malcolm McLaren Estate. OFF-WHITE c/o Virgil Abloh “Industrial by Nature” & Cali Thornhill DeWitt
