One day I’d love to see a movie coming out with a plus sized main character and the plot of the movie isn’t centered or making snide remarks about their weight. Fuck the whole “Most girls have trouble with school but Jenny’s issues are a lot ‘bigger’ than she expected’ bullshit. Give me the good “In a race against time, one person has the power to save the world…or end it.” plot where the main character just happens to be bigger. No big romantic moments where a guy loves them ‘despite their size’ or where there are constant mentions of their weight. No more comedic relief over their size, give me the bad ass main characters that don’t give a fuck what people think of how they look and loves themselves. Give me the main character I needed to see as a plus sized child.
