And I always have. I hated my hips and still have moments where I wish they were smaller. Do you know how hard it is to find things that fit when your ass and hips are 15 inches bigger than your waist?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I digress. I am so grateful for this #beyourownvalentine2019 challenge right now because normally after being sick for a few days and not being able to workout, I would have torn my body apart. I would have forced myself to workout no matter how badly I felt. Because I ‘had’ to. Even though my body was screaming at me to rest. Because I had to shrink my hips (and the rest of my body). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But, because of this challenge, this time when I caught glimpse of my sick ass self in the mirror with my pizza shirt and Star Wars boxers - I didn’t hate what I saw. I don’t look any different after not working out for a few days. I’m actually getting better quicker than I usually do. Because I have been listening to my body and not kicking it when it’s down and needs to rest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What is your favorite part of this challenge?
