The exhibition „Toyen“ was by far the most beautiful I have seen in recent years!
A strong woman who worked at the heart of #surealisme . She died almost unnoticed in 1980 in Paris. According to her wish, her death announcement gives her quotation „I realize that my white page turned green.“
Don’t miss it if you are in Hamburg. I had tears in my eyes.
