Part 1Part 14

I sat at the bar with Damon, us eating burgers and fries.

“Okay let’s just say that me and my sister are descendants from Katherine. Does that make us part vampire?” I ask, looking at Damon.

“Vampires can’t procreate.” He says chewing, his gaze landing on mine.

“But we love to try.” He says smirking.

“Hush.” I say pushing him with my shoulder.

Smiling, he shakes his head.

“No, if you were related it means Katherine had a child before she was turned.”

“Elena thinks Stephan is using her to replace Katherine.”

“That’s kinda creepy if you ask me.”

“Yeah, but I get it.” I say eating my fries.

“Get what?”

“He gets a chance to see someone he loves again. Even if it’s not the same person. That’s why you hang out with me right? I got the same curls Katherine had. I look more like her.” I say looking at him.

I watch him wrinkle his brow and shake his head.

“No, you may look like her, but you don’t act or smell like her. You’re a different person.” He says eating another fry.

“Can I ask you something?” I ask watching him eat.

He nods, him chewing.

“How can you eat, if you are… ya know?”

“Dead?” He whispers looking around.

“It’s not such a bad word.”

“I was gonna say vampire.”

“Right.” He says chuckling.

“As long as I keep a healthy diet of blood in my system my body functions pretty normally.” He says eating another fry. His nose wrinkles up as he does it.

I can’t help but smile at how cute that looked.

“Elena keeps telling me this nice act is going to end soon.“

“I thought we agreed to not listen to the evil big sister?” He says making me giggle by his new nickname for her.

“Yeah I guess you’re right.”

“Mmhmm.”

“Here ya go hun.” Bree says coming up to us handing Damon a beer.

“I’ll have one too.” I say.

“What?” Damon says, looking at me.

“I didn’t peg you for a beer type of girl.”

“I didn’t peg you for the nice guy, we are getting me drunk and happy remember?” I ask looking up at him.

“There ya go.” Bree says handing me one.

“Thank you.” I say, taking it from her.

Damon holds out his own bottle towards me. I clank mine against his and take a drink wrinkling my face up at the bitter taste. I earn a laugh but ignore it.

I don’t know whose idea it was but after a while someone suggested taking shots. Correction: who could take shots the fastest.

“Ready?” Bree asks. Her, Damon and I are all having a shot. Along with a couple of other people in the bar joining in on our game.

“Go.” Bree says all of picking up the shot.

I down mine first doing a little wiggle as the warm liquid runs down my throat.

“That’s three.” I say holding three fingers up to Damon.

“Well I’m sorry I can’t unhinge my jaw like a snake to consume alcohol.” He says, wiping his chin off.

“Funny.” I say sticking my tongue out at him.

“Alright, who’s next?” I ask looking around the bar.

“Another round Bree?”

“Honey, you should be on the floor.” The blonde lady next to me says.

“I’m not even drunk.” I say knowing my high tolerance was from months of drinking after my parents died.

“Alright here we go.” Bree says pouring us another round and walking over to serve the man who just walked in.

After a few more shots I asked Damon to go play pool with me, declining him needing to talk to Bree about something.

“You suck.” I say jumping from the bar stool.

“You know it.” He says winking at me.

“Eww.” I say wrinkling my nose up remembering the time he fed from me.

I walk over to the pool table and start to play when my phone starts to ring.

I grab it and answer it wishing I hastened when it’s Elena.

“Where are you?” She asks, sounding angry.

“Wait a second, it’s really loud in here.” I say heading for the door.

“Jenna is worried about you and I’m not going to lie for you anymore.” She says, making me sigh.

I step out the door just to trip, making me fall and drop my phone.

I hiss in pain rubbing my shin as I pick up my phone.

“Hello?” I ask standing back up.

“Octavia where-.”

I jump when someone wraps their arms around me from behind covering my mouth, making me drop my phone. I try to fight and scream, the person dragging me with them. I bite their hand making the man yell and hit me in the back of the head everything going black.

I wake up tied to a large oil drum. No one in sight. I start to scream but stop when a man appears in front of me in a link. He is definitely a vampire.

“Don’t scream. I’m not going to hurt you. I just need you as bait. I’ll let you go as soon as I get what I want.” He says gently.

“What do you want?” I ask him, only earning a smirk.

“You’ll see.” He says diapering again.

Only moments pass before I hear footsteps. Damon coming around the corner of a building.

“Damon.” I cry out making him look up at me.

He doesn’t get a chance to respond to the male vampire coming from nowhere and hitting Damon’s legs with a piece of wood, and starts hitting him over and over.

I try to wiggle from my ties realizing that I was barely tied down. I get free just as the man grabs a can of gas and starts pouring it on Damon.

“Stop!” I yelled running towards them having no idea what I could do to help but I was going to try.

The man turns towards me flashing his fangs, his eyes bloodshot daring me to come closer. It makes me stop in my tracks.

“Who are you?” Damon asks the man sounding out of breath from the man hitting him in the stomach.

“That’s perfect you have no idea.”

“What are you talking about? What did he do?” I ask, earning the man’s attention.

“He killed my girlfriend.” He says, glaring at Damon.

“What did she do to you? What did she do huh!” He yells clearly upset.

“Nothing.” Damon says through labored breath.

“Wait, are we talking about Lexi?” Ask the man looking at me.

“Exactly. She went to visit Stephan and Damon killed her.” He says kicking Damon in the face.

“My sister said you were human. She turned you?” I ask, making him look at me.

“If you want to love someone forever, you have to live forever.” He says pulling matches from his pocket.

“She loved you!” I call out trying to stop him.

“I talked to Lexi. She was an amazing kind person, she wouldn’t want you to do this. If you love someone you don’t walk away from them.”

“Well lucky for you you won’t have to make that choice.” He says, glaring at me and turning back to Damon.

“Don’t! Please don’t hurt him.” I beg, shocked when my voice cracks.

“I’m doing you a favor.” He says lighting a match.

“You’re not. You’re really not. I’m begging you please don’t hurt him.”

“Please.” I say, him looking back at me. I feel a single tear run down my cheek.

He doesn’t say anything, only turns to pick up Damon by his shirt. He throws him into the building making slam into the ground. I can hear him groan from where I stand telling me he’s still alive.

“Thank you.” I say, the man looking at me.

“It wasn’t for you.” He says, through his clenched jaw. Him taking off after that.

I quickly ran over to Damon bending down to help him up.

“Are you okay?” I ask, helping him stand.

“Not really.” He groans out.

“Come on, let’s get you inside.” I say, him looking down at me.

“What?” I ask, him giving me a weird look.

He opens his mouth as if he is going to say something then shakes his head.

“Nothing. Let’s go to the car.” He says, walking.

By the time we reach the car he is walking on his own.

“Stay, here I’m going to tell Bree we are leaving.” He says zooming off.

I throw my hands up in the air at him walking off.

“It’s not like I was almost kidnapped or anything.” I mumble, getting into the car and shutting the door.

I only sat there for a moment or two, Damon coming back out.

“Everything okay?” I ask when he gets in the car, looking almost mad.

“Everything’s fine. Now let’s head home.” He says starting the car and heading towards the road.

“So why did you bring me with you?” I ask after a while of us driving.

“You’re not the worst company in the world Octavia.” He says smiling at me.

“No really? Why? I didn’t help you do anything.”

“Well, you were laying there in the road all damsel in distress like and I knew it would piss off your sister which would piss off Stephan. Plus you’re not the worst company in the word Octavia.”

“Everyone tells me I used to be more fun.”

“You did okay.”

“I did save your life.” I say smiling at him.

“I know.” He says lowering his brow.

“And don’t you forget it.” I say grinning.

“I’m sure you won’t let me.”

“You got that right.” I say, the both of us laughing.

Laying my head back on the seat I sigh, a smile on my face. Despite everything that happened I was happy.

39 “Would you do something for me?” “For you anything.” “Great, would you go to the store and get me ice-cream?”

40 “this is not a date. It is two people meeting after they haven’t seen each other for a while.” “So, it’s a date.”

‘Where are you going?’ asked Elena while walking into Y/N’s room and seeing her getting ready.

‘I am going to see a guy.’ Y/n answered not looking away from a large mirror as she was putting on her favourite lipstick.

Elena raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms, ‘do I know him?’ She suspected who it might be, but she wanted to hear it.

Of course, she knew him, everyone knew him, Y/n thought. She turned around to face Elena while nibbling on her bottom lip.

The girl let out a sight before saying, ‘not him. Not again.’ She pursed her lips, awaiting the confirmation. But Y/n didn’t know what to say, what to feel. Should she tell her friend where and with who she was meeting, or should she tell her that it is her life and, she will do whatever she wants to? And she will meet whoever she wants to. ‘Why Y/n do you always have to give into his manipulation? He disappeared for over five years.’

‘I know but –‘

‘No, you clearly don’t. You know what if you want to go back to dating him then be my guest, but don’t come back to cry on my shoulder.’ Elena turned around and started for the door.

When Y/N was left alone, quiet tears escaped her eyes. She looked in the mirror, ‘stop crying, you idiot, you can do whatever the fuck you want, and no one will rule you around.’ With that, she fixed her make-up, put on a jacket and left her room.

She sat at the bar and ordered some whiskey.

‘You are too pretty to sit here alone.’ Said a quite drunk and scruffy guy, settling on the bar stool right next to her. She could smell his alcohol and cigarette breath.

‘I am not alone actually,’ she stared into the glass and considered if she should empty it quickly and get another one.

The man looped his arm around her waist, ‘you couldn’t be more right’, his words stung her neck.  Her body tensed and she couldn’t find it in her to move away when it was the most reasonable thing to do.

‘I believe she meant me, mate, now get your hand off my lady, or I will break it.’ The man immediately unwrapped his arm and left her. She didn’t make a move, but her heart now raced in a tight cage. ‘You shouldn’t let them speak to you like this, love.’ Klaus took the other man’s seat. She could feel his eyes on her which didn’t help her racing heart.

She lifted the glass and tilted it with trembling hand and gulped the content of it. She then looked at him turning her body slightly, so it faced him, her head rested on her knuckles, and her bare elbow rested on the cold bar table. ‘Why do you care? You left me.’

His gaze lowered, ‘I had no choice. But I want to make it right.’ His glittery eyes found hers again, and his hand travelled to her left hand which rested on her lap on which laid her jacket.

It reminded her of the times when they dated, and so she automatically moved it away as if it burned her. ‘Don’t’, she whispered, knowing he would hear it, with that he took his hand.

‘I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have, perhaps I should go.’ Klaus started to get off his seat.

‘I don’t want you to go. I just, just don’t understand,’ their eyes met again. ‘Why did you leave?’

Klaus sighted and sat down … ‘Now you know my family, and I were trapped.’

‘I am so sorry. I – I didn’t know.’ Y/n rested her hand on Klaus’s, and he held it tight as if he never wanted to let go of her. Their bodies leaning closer, their lips pursing and eyes closing.

Someone cleared their throat behind them. Both of them untangled, and y/n felt the heat rising to her cheeks, Klaus’s eyes boiled with fire like from hell.

‘What the hell are you doing, herewithhim?’Damon pointed at Klaus and reached for Y/n hand to lead her out of the bar.

‘Damon let go of me.’ She shrugged her hand away.

‘Mate, to me it seems like she doesn’t want to go with you.’Klaus stood defensively in front of her. The two vampires resembled two lions fighting over territory.

‘Enough. The both of you.’

‘Y/n I don’t want to you hurting again.’ Damon look deeply into her eyes, ‘you are my little sister, and I just want to protect you.’

‘We were just talking.’

‘It didn’t look like it.’

Klaus cleared his throat, ‘sorry love, but I’m afraid we will need to carry on with our little meeting at a different time.’ Then he just walked away.

Back in her room Y/n laid in her bed scrolling through her phone.

Gentle knocking on the door got her out of the virtual world, ‘go away, Damon!’

The door opened, ‘it’s not Damon. Can I come in?’ Stefan’s head peered through the open space between the door and door frame.

‘I don’t want to talk about it.’

‘Fine we don’t have to,’ he walked in and sat on the edge of her bed. ‘However. I would like us to,’ he smiled encouragingly.

‘There is nothing to talk about, we – Klaus and I – just met to talk and then Damon appeared and now I’m here.’ Hints of anger in her tone.

‘Do you love him?’ he asked with plain voice, there was nothing, no anger or happiness not the slightest emotion.

Y/n’s eyes widened, and she stared at him for a brief while before answering, ‘I – I don’t know. I think so.’

‘I need to know, really what do you feel for him?’

She scratched nail polish of off her fingernails, ‘I was angry at him, but I love him.’ Stefan’s warm hand landed on her leg, and she looked at him, he was smiling brightly.

‘I don’t know what he did to deserve you, but he is waiting downstairs.’

Y/n threw herself onto her brother, she hugged him tightly and whispered into his ear, ‘thank you.’ She moved away and begun to get off the bed.

‘But just so you know if he hurts you again I will kill him or at least I will die trying.’ Y/n looked at him with loving but playful eyes.

She rushed downstairs and saw Klaus standing on the bottom. He reached out his hand, ‘shall we.’

Smiling brightly like the sun, she gave him her hand, ‘where are we going?’

‘It is a surprise.’

‘Lakehouse? Really?’

‘Don’t be disappointed, love.’

‘I am not disappointed. I’m surprised. ‘

They had a romantic dinner with wine-blood mixed drinks. They talked about the past and their present lives, but neither of them wanted to mention the future. Did they even have a future? Klaus had a child and family. And Y/n, well she had plans of her own, she wanted to finish Uni with Elena, Caroline and Bonnie, adopt a baby and start a family of her own.

‘Is something wrong, love’ Klaus asked with a saddened gaze. He couldn’t help but think he had done something wrong. Again. Usually, he didn’t care about other’s feeling, he was ready to kill the mother of his child if only she tried to trick him and run with the child. So, now when Y/N’ s mood changed from tears of happiness to sad dog’s eyes, he couldn’t help but blame himself.

Picking her cuticles, ‘it’s nothing, just, this – this whole get together thing we are doing.’ She looked stared at him bluntly, ‘what do you want Klaus?’

For a minute he didn’t know what to say, he just stared back at her. ‘I wanted to pick things up where we left off. I promised you a date,-‘

‘This is not a date. This just two people meeting after they haven’t seen each other for a while.’

‘So, it’s a date,’ Klaus attempted to relax the atmosphere.

‘No, lovers go on dates, people who don’t have a history together go on dates. And we – you have a child and family, and I have my plans.’ A single tear left her an eye. ‘I waited for you for so long, - ‘

He moved closer to her, and she leaned into his embrace. The hybrid let her cry quietly, while he gently ran his hand through her hair. He kissed the top of her head and whispered ‘I would do anything you.’

‘Would you go to the store and get me ice-cream,’ she lifted her tears stained face that was yet again smiling. Or at least she tried to seem happy because she knew he will be blaming himself for her tears.

He began to move away and get up.

‘Where are you going?’

‘I said I would do anything for you, and I’m a man of my word.’

‘No, that’s Elijah,’ Y/N teased. ‘I was just kidding, sit down.’

‘I wasn’t. I’ll be back soon.’ He started for the front door.’

‘Wait I am coming with you.’ She ran to him and entwined their hands, ‘I lost you five years ago. I don’t want to lose you again.’

Again I hope you guys enjoyed, let me know if you did. Requests are still open.

I am sooo soooo sorry for the lack of content and fanfiction that I failed to produce this year. 2020 has been a shit of a year and I could not seem to force myself to write anything.

That being said, I have plans to make up for it in 2021. I’m planning out and writing out stories to be published once a week.

I’ll post a new fanfic every Friday. We’ll call it FanFic Fri-yays! Be on the lookout tonight tho for my first ever SMUT fanfiction and please think of it as a fresh start and more cheerful things to come.

“Quit smirking at me, I’m serious!” You glared and shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot.

“I’m not smirking!” He said as a corner of his mouth lifted.

“Well, stop laughing at me,” you crossed your arms in front of your chest and pouted back at him.

“I’m not laughing.”

Exasperated you stomped your foot and clenched your hands at your side, “Well quit whatever it is you’re doing.”

He rolled his eyes as he wrapped the rest of the garland in his hands around the stair banister. “You said and I quote, ‘Don’t be such a Scrooge, Damon.”

You huffed, the breath of air moving your hair out of your eyes.

“This is me with a cheery disposition; A ray of sunshine in the midst of bleakness. Don’t put a cloud over my sunshine,” he said picking up a piece of mistletoe and walking towards you.

“It’s an excuse to laugh at me,” you muttered and tugged at your skirt self consciously. The bells at the end of your elf hat jingled loudly.

“RAIN CLOUD!” Damon exclaimed as he stopped in front of you.

He stepped as close to you as possible which forced you to tilt your head back and look up at him as a pout covered your lips.

He reached out and placed his pointer finger under your chin while his thumb rested against your chin and bottom lip.

“Don’t pout, Little One,” he soothed you and ran his thumb across your bottom lip. “Look,” he tilted your head back more and your eyes focused on the mistletoe that dangled from his fingertips over your heads.

A smile began to lift your lips as you focused your gaze back on Damon’s blue eyes. His eyes crinkled with a smile as his trademark smirk formed on his lips.

“I would never laugh at you, but with you,” he wrapped his free arm around your waist and pulled you against him. Your hands rested against his chest as you smiled.

“Thank you for helping me decorate for the Holidays,” a smirk flitted across your lips, “Scrooge.”

A mock look of hurt creased his features before he leaned forward and pecked your lips, “Any time, Y/N.”
