This took absolutely forever to finish, particularly because finals, but it was also an absolute beast to shade. The results were worth it! I wanted to do one of those classic dark sides group photos cus I was feeling nostalgic.

also, this animatic was in progress when i was hit with multiple different things in my life and i haven’t had the motivation to finish really anything for almost a year. this project has a lot of style changes but i still wanted to finish it to show myself that i could. (this was made before SvS Redux so its spoiler free )

Janus not only cares about Thomas’ mental health for Thomas’ wellbeing but because when Thomas’ mental health tanks, so does Virgil and Remus’.

the best thing about this is that Roman’s in comfy clothes and Deceit being Deceit is just in his full get up??? like I imagine roman like “dee, com'ere, I want cuddles” and dee over here like… “sure” and FLOPS DOWN ON THE BED while Roman’s like “u needa change, my mans” and all u hear is a muffled “no” because dee is face first in the bed

thomas is planning some sort of surprise birthday party for a friend and when said friend asks about it he almost tells them the truth about the surprise

so he calls a group meeting and his like “ what the hecc guys whyd i almost tell them?” fingers are immediately pointed to roman and thomas is like “youre creativity, why didnt you make up some kind of excuse?” and roman is like “well i didnt even know an excuse had to be made!”

so after some back and forth they realize that thomas almost told the truth cus thomas cant lie at all. so they call on deceit and surprise surprise, hes messing with them. not cus hes sad or anything but cause hes petty and wants to mess with them. “oh but i thought lying was soooo bad??”

so the rest of the gang are like “well deceits a slimey boi, how bad could this be?”

queue a montage of thomas being brutally honest about peoples appearances and spoiling shows for people and now all his friends are pissed at him the gang realizes “okay this is bad.” and bada boom bada bang resolution somehow

itd be a fun way to show that not all forms of lying are bad while still keeping Deceit as the villian
