We’re doing an art swap with lovely Ana ( @its-our-paris). The prompt for me was ‘something with Delgado, Missy and Twelve’. Oh, I know it’s a lazy and unimaginative way out, but I really would like to see the return of this Master :)
So, I’m doing an art exchange with @st-jude-blog and I was *going* to draw Three and Missy for them, but somehow Delgado pushed his way in first, sneaky bastard, and what do you know, this sketch happened. Don’t worry, Three and Missy also still coming up!
This is soooo lovely!!! Geee, I’m doing my happy dance right now!!! I’m so inspired to do my part now! And i can’t wait for the second art, because, honestly, this is brilliant. And that’s exactly the reason why i wanted a swap, nothing else gives such positive motivation. Thank you, my wonderful swap partner! :)))
Oh boy! I rlly did it y’all. My best attempt at piecing together all of the Master’s regenerations/bodies/deaths in relation to each other. Please note that there’s probably quite a bit missing with this, and potentially errors as well, but canon’s a mess and only sort of exists!
I pieced this together mostly through my own knowledge and obsessing over every detail in The Master’s TARDIS Databanks page, which has things in more or less chronological order, as well as in more detail.
* - The method by which the Master escaped the Cheetah World and cured himself is thus far unknown. There are multiple possibilities, but the actual answer is vague and not certain.

i literally spent all day making this instead of working on literally anything else!
I probably spent way to much time on these but imagine how happy the master would be if they saw real Clangers like they just drop everything to just pick one up.
I will now just keep imagining Delgado master just keep looking for them not taking the fact that they are puppets, and then this happens. And is like I am taking them with me
(I made them for a hat for Missy and now I don’t know if I can just glue them onto a hat)

smallerverse is almost 1:6 scale but not quite. so it’s like… 1:7ish
i started with the heads off of Titans minifigs and mattel 1:6 scale child bodies… did some light facial improvements:
3rd doctor: actually kinda proud of this face. the original sculpt and eyes looked so mean and unhappy whereas pertwee should look equal parts tired and mischievous. maybe i should make the irises bigger? not sure.
wearing most of ron’s yule ball outfit as well as the body it came on, and she-ra’s cape
Jo Grant: not great as a likeness, but… considering the head was some other character entirely I think she looks ok :D (the original figure was some girl with a russian name, from Archer? idk) ALSO i used an obitsu 24cm body for her. oh and her hair is sculpted with heatmould plastic

delgado!m: honestly the Titans figure sculpt was perfect, i just had to bring out the lines with paint used a CW body (asian kid?) for him and some leftover pure neemo hands that i had to mod to fit on his existing wrist pegs. might give him gloved hands later, for authenticity, though

i’ve had this headsculpt and most of the rest of the parts for years, and finally had the courage to paint him up this past weekend… while waiting impatiently for the BCS official one to exist, of course!
in the last pic he’s reading a book made by @modernwizard out of candy packaging. he would like us to know that he finds the literary tastes of his future selves Shocking!

delgado!master (doll) starts up out of his chair in shock, as…
third doctor (doll) appears in his room!
“my dear doctor! such a surprise”
“and you, old chap, i trust you’ve been well?” (actually, three has reason to worry, as d!m is looking a bit pale and thin)
“it has been… an awfully long time” (d!m has his hands up to his mouth, trying not very successfully to suppress his emotions)
then he just reaches out (three probably thinks they’re about to get strangled but instead…) he holds their face tenderly with his gloved hands and then pulls the doctor into a tight embrace.
three hugs him back, once the shock subsides.
they lean into each other, three’s lips on delgado’s brow, both doctor and master are saying many things telepathically that they cannot bring themselves to speak aloud.
they sit down, the master taking three’s hand in both of his. “do tell me all about your adventures”
“no need for haste, old chap. i thought perhaps i might stay for good this time.” they put their hand on the master’s.
“i should like that, doctor.”
very happy to finally receive the 3rd doctor figure from BCS! due to covid there were so many delays, which added a lot of feeling to this reunion story.
