two more lair lads!! I wanted to draw more than just a bust this time to try and convey some more of their personalities. I like the results, especially my spiral’s silly long neck : ) Meet Birch, a turnip farmer, and Corse, a mapmaker!!
I want to draw full bodies more but SHEESH why are dragons so big and why must I always use every possible apparel slot!!!! its too much for any man u_u hopefully someday soon I’ll post another fullbody.
Four more dragon profile busts done!!! I tried to fully ink and shade all of these rather than just doing sketchy versions, and I’m really happy with the results! They all feel so much more lively and adding some additional mood lighting and details was so relaxing -w-
Top left is Morel, a cannon expert; Top right is Thunder, a talented warrior; Bottom left is Kirave, a sweet old dad; Bottom right is Reluctance, a necromancer!! They all have more detailed lore on their profiles. :)
a colored version of the line busts I commissioned from kender! They have a beautiful style and I was so thrilled to be able to not only commission them but also to color the art they gave me! Thanks to him for letting me add onto these. From left to right we have Ishi, my clan’s monster hunter; Mafrea, an important merchant; and Odul, a friendly pirate! If ya like these, please check out the rest of kender’s art, they do lovely stuff <3
Some FR Busts and character design I’ve done lately! We have GalidandDuskfell, who are two of my clan members. Then there’s Tesla, a character I played in a recent one shot. After that is Nixon, a friendly butcher who I was recently commissioned to draw! ^^
The fire-esque one went to a good home and I got my hands on this lovely man in return!! Sparkly golden shamrock lad is gonna be cozy here in my lair for quite some time!! If anyone starts selling nature themed accents hmu ;33c
FINALLY!!! Lmao sketching is probably the second hardest thing for me especially if one does not know how to draw what where and so many questions WHY- But anyhow I hope ya all like this interpretation of @vesperlionheart : Kingdom of God (especially you Vesper ). I thought about giving Sai that kind of priest like aura (Bruh I tried) but I think I managed to make Sasuke look like a jerk (me is proud of that) so yeah I also thank you for your super sweet and nice response on my last post Vesper thank you so so so very much, you are too sweet and I appreciate your support so much :“) ❤❤❤ Please show her some love, you guys! ~Original Fanart, ya all ✌~
Most of you probably still remember that one big piece I started and never finished a long time ago. Let’s say that the death of a family member had me really depressed and on Hiatus for a long time, I am still struggling because of a lack of inspiration ( I noticed that something has been missing in my drawings since that event in my life). But I still hope that I can improve on my art and learn a lot more stuff, maybe one day even sell it ( tbh I do not feel as if my stuff right now is sell worthy but I am working to change that ) thank you for all the lovely support till now ❤❤❤
And I know that you probably haven been waiting for this piece for ages now @vesperlionheart and I will be honest with ya all; I lost the original one :“) but I did a Kingdom of God version this time and planned on adding Gaara, Sai and maybe Deidara ( or Sasuke???). Comment your suggestions below!
Slowly getting back into it skin making so posting these! The top two I’ll release eventually into the wild and bottom three are personal customs I’ve done for some dragons in my lair to experiment with some new things :’)
Daguerreotype view of a crowd in St. Peter’s Square in Vatican City taken by an unidentified Italian photographer in Rome, the Papal States, c. 1845. One of the earliest photographs of Vatican City.
the “Delight of Ra”, the “Sun Temple” of King NiuserRa (ca. 2420–2389 BCE) at Bousiri (pr-Wsjr, “the House of Osiris”, that is the name of more than ten sacred cities of Egypt)
“In addition to His extensive rebuilding of Userkaf’s "Sun Temple”, NiuserRa built His own, named “Delight of Ra”. The upper Temple was set within a rectangular enclosure oriented to the cardinal directions. A T-shaped entrance hall had five granite-lined doorways. Those on the centre axis gave on to a broad rectangular court, dominated on the west by the obelisk, 36 m (118 ft) tall, built of limestone blocks. It stood on a pedestal in the form of a truncated pyramid, itself 20 m (65 ft 6 in) high, and built of limestone with red granite around the base. The combined height equalled or surpassed that of NiuserRa’s pyramid. In front of the obelisk and aligned with its centre axis stands an altar consisting of five slabs of white alabaster. The central element takes the form of a circle, 1.8 m (6 ft) in diameter, flanked by four slabs with the top carved in relief as the “Hotep” hieroglyph - a stylized conical bread loaf on a reed mat. This is the sign for ‘offering’, ‘satisfied’ or ‘peace’, commonly found at the base of false doors in Old Kingdom tombs. The whole arrangement can be read as “May Ra be satisfied”. (…) From the entrance hall a right turn led along a corridor to a set of magazines built against the north enclosure wall, probably for short-term storage of offerings. At the east end a stairway led to the roof. A left turn in the entrance hall led to corridors with a wealth of fine relief carvings. These include one of the earliest scenes of the Sed festival of the King’s renewal. In a section that attached to the pedestal building the three seasons were depicted. (…) Just outside the enclosure of the upper Temple a huge mudbrick model of a boat, 30 m (98 ft) long, was found. This colossal simulacrum of a ship perhaps signifies the mythic boat in which Ra sailed across the ocean of the sky. It also hints that the “Sun Temple”, like the pyramid complexes, was seen as a symbolic port to the world of the Gods.“ (from "The Complete Pyramids” by M. Lehner)
