“His comments are sheer humbug,” Draco said, nose pointed upward, arms crossed and practiced sneer perfectly in place.
Harry turned to him with an aged-old scowl. “What the fuck is a humbug, you pretentious twat?”
“Well,” Draco scoffed. “I’ll say!”
“What would you say?”
“That you’re a bit slow for your age.” Draco reached out a long finger, pressing it against Harry’s nose. It takes a moment for him to realize Draco’s just booped his nose, of all things. It takes a while longer for Harry to realize he finds it rather charming, exasperatingly so.
“You’re still a twat though,” Harry said, unable to keep syrup sweet fondness from dripping into his voice. Unable to hide a creeping smile from breaking out onto his face.
“Your honor, Draco Malfoy is dead. So are Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy. As my client was his guardian as per the terms of his release, it is but obvious, that all his property and liquid assets will be handed over to Mr. Potter,” Hermione concluded.
“Do you have it?”
“Keeping in view all the points made by Miss Granger, this court rules in favor of Mr. Potter and accepts his claim to the Malfoy assets. Court adjourned.”
“Of course, here,” Harry hands Draco the property papers.
Harry smiled at Draco across the crowded street. No matter what happened next, the secrets they shared had taken on a far more delightful tone than the ones of their collective pasts.
Suddenly, Draco realised what Harry was smiling about. His pale features blushed, turning a deep scarlet that made all of the blood in Harry’s head drift decidedly lower.
Yeah. Harry could handle a few secrets for a while.

Getting sent to investigate the thrilling report of Malfoy’s morning paper going missing isn’t high on Harry’s agenda, to be honest. Malfoy’s a time-waster, and a pain in the arse to the whole department.
We believed it was just a myth, the Elder Wand. But over the years we have come to confirm that it is, in fact, real.
This project will contain research of the powers of the Elder Wand. We have obtained the subjects who have had the Wand in possession. Precautions have been taken to make sure no other Masters has been created during the concealment of the subjects.
At no other time in history has more than one Owner of the Elder Wand been recorded at once for a longer amount of time. We hope to learn more about why that is during this project. Because of this unique opportunity, we must make sure the subjects do not eliminate each other. The subjects’ importances in this project can not be understated.
Though he won’t ever admit it—not even years later, when Draco’s giving Harry shit about it right before they go to sleep, the bedside light just dim enough to hide the worst of his blush—it takes Harry an embarrassingly long time to realise that something is wrong. For the last five years, Auror Draco Malfoy has walked into his office with hardly a glance at the illusioned window taking up the back wall. It looks out over an imagined London, a perfectly bright and brilliant view of the city that hides the smog and rain and dirt that clings to the city like a patina of time that can never be worn away. It’s always a perfect summer’s day with soft, white clouds that float through the painfully bright blue sky like a dream. He likes to imagine the gentle breeze that ripples the surface of the Thames brushing across his skin, since he’ll never be able to actually feel it. After all, his office is located on the second floor and is, therefore, underground.
Or at least that’s what he did before the seventh of October, 2009.
The closest house is miles away, and the red clay earth eats sound. He had married Draco, had moved here in hopes of a perfect love, a fantasy romance, but something is terribly wrong with this place. Draco is nervous, and tells Harry with his eyes not to drink the tea that his mother serves.
Lucius Malfoy is missing and Auror Harry Potter’s been assigned to the case. Really, Harry couldn’t give a toss about Lucius bloody Malfoy, but for some reason, Harry can’t help but try his best when Draco looks so excited every time they find a new lead.
Where is Lucius Malfoy and why doesn’t Harry mind looking for him as much as he thought?
When Harry suddenly falls ill due to an unknown cause, the healer informs both Harry and Draco that he is dying. Will Draco be able to save him in time?

Professors Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy have worked together at Hogwarts for ten years, and in this time they’ve managed to become sort-of-not-quite friends. After all, it’s been fifteen years since the war and everyone is a bit tired of old rivalries. When Draco goes missing and Headmistress McGonagall asks Harry to go into the Forbidden Forest to find him, Harry doesn’t think much of it. Until he both finds more than what he’d bargained for, and not what he’d originally set out to find.
Draco is struck by a wayward curse of unknown origin and keeps trying to get Curse-Breaker Potter to help him. It’s rather frustrating that he seems to be so busy… and that Draco can only speak to him in questions. Draco’s at his wit’s end trying to get oblivious Potter to realise why he’s bothering him, and Harry won’t stop making obscure Muggle references. Like the last time, when he just stared at Draco before yelling “What is this, fucking Jeopardy?!” before walking away.
to quote Draco, “fuck.” the group dynamics between these three are EXQUISITE: “Harry mouths an apology and re-casts the spell to surround Malfoy’s chair too. I just sit there, frozen by the memory of Neville’s stag do. I thought we’d had an agreement, Harry and I, to pretend it never happened. I’ve certainly done everything I can to force it down, to act like I don’t remember the feeling of his jaw under my hand, his breath on my lips. I don’t understand why he even brought it up—usually I’m pretty good at that sort of thing, at making connections and puzzling out motivations, but my brain keeps getting stuck on the memory of the taste of țuică on Harry’s tongue.”

deliciously fun idiots to lovers. A+ run-around, background/meddling Ron & Pansy. oh, and I almost forgot the best part: smut from the get-go: “Draco sighed. He didn’t have the answer to that question: if people liked him even half the amount they seemed to love the chef behind Sweet Prophecies, he’d never hide his identity. Plus, the wine was completely messing with his thinking abilities— that, or a giant pink elephant had just started flying around the room without anyone else noticing.”
