Mise en Place is the perfect example of why Crow’s work is so fun to read. They do an incredible job of characterizations and nail both Harry and Draco’s hesitancy. Crow always writes situations that feel so real and plausible, which allows their characters come to life.

I know Harry Potter is controversial right now but this is a really good Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy work that doesn’t give money to JK Rowling. Its 100 chapters and really really good. It’s a beast at 605,095 words, but if you have nothing else to read at the moment this is good to curl up with.

Harry reached over, taking Draco’s hand in his, their fingers threading together. No one knew what it was like to be a sad man behind those green eyes. Except for Draco, who had been forced to tell his own lies.
That was going to change now, though. They were free.
