#entrapta
I hope it’s not to late to celebrate Entrapta’s Birthday!
M.
Hordak: Love is a scam.
Catra: You’re literally making a Valentine’s Day card for Entrapta.
Hordak:
Hordak: You’re on thin fucking ice.
Scorpia: Do you want to come camping with us?
Entrapta: Ooh sure! Want me to bring my retractable s'mores pole?
Hordak: Are you talking about that car antenna I keep finding in the dishwasher?
Entrapta: I need some advice on how to talk to this guy I like.
Scorpia: I don’t think I’m gonna be able to help you with that one.
Entrapta: Because you’re a lesbian?
Scorpia: No, I just can’t flirt for shit.
Something I love about She ra is that there are two completely different characters who both fit into the chaotic neutral alignement. The hyperactive scientist, and the shapshifting mercenary with a passion for acting.
and those two happen to be my spop faves…

WHY CANT YALL ACCEPT ENTRAPTA AS A COMPLEX MORALLY GRAY CHARACTER?!
It really feels like no one knows how to talk about this character without nuance. Especially in regards to her being autistic.
It’s “She’s autistic, she doesn’t know what she was doing, she’s not really bad” which is a complete lie because she totally had her own agenda and had no problem causing climate change and giving Hordak advice on how to win the war.
Or it’s “she’s such an uncaring, inhumane character and a disgrace to autistic representation” which is just ??? When last I checked, not only is she one of the kindest, observant characters in the show
creating individualized space suits for her “friends” and forgiving one of said friends pretty fast for trying to kill herbut also one of her defining characteristics is finding humanity in those never granted it and how it makes them rethink their choices (Hordak, Wrong Hordak, Scorpia). And these traits many argue is the beauty of her being Neurodivergent and what makes her so lovable. Why can’t she exist as both? Why can’t she be autistic, but also someone who made bad decisions and had a selfish agenda, while also being thoughtful and caring? Like, that’s literally what being a complex character is.
On top of that, she has a redemption arc in the show that last a whole season and is one of few characters that really feels like a different person by the end of the series.
Entrapta, how she is, is important. A lot of people, especially young adults have realized they’re possibly on the spectrum because of her. Myself included. It wasn’t until I watched She-Ra for the first time and saw Entrapta, who was brown and acted like me
and was also a hot mess, that I really started to look into being on the spectrum, which I’ve speculated on for years. Because the representation of autism and ND people I saw growing up were mostly charming but socially awkward white boys or “good” characters that were played as comic relief and the punching bag of the group. It was so wild to have a character not fall into those two categoriesTb
h if Entrapta was with the alliance the whole time I guarantee she would’ve been comedic relief that was never taken seriously, just look at how the alliance and the writing treat her before she even switches sidesEntrapta cool. Entrapta good. There’s no need to villainize tf outta her but also she’s not a baby. She’s a human. A complicated person. And an incredibly unique one.
Let her exist as that.
