Listen I know they said he had, like, a tool belt and stuff, but the instant they mentioned Urchin in a uniform this popped into my head, so
My fav things to draw for Adventure Zone Ethersea are poorly traced memes

The drawing for last week’s Adventure Zone took so long because at first I was just gonna draw this first image, but then I came up with the concept of turning the Tres Horny Boys into pokemon starters so I had to do that too.
I made them all the animal masks they had for Petals to the Metal. So Merle’s an owl, and obviously the Grass-type. Merowl, Highperch, and Flownatruth. While incapable of flight, their close connection with nature has granted them the Fairy typing.
Magnus is the Fire-type. I mean he even has “burn” in his last name. Magnursa, Bearnsides, and Rushesinferno. Their rowdy behavior grants the Fighting typing. They use the whetstone-like features on their chest to sharpen their axe-claws, which they use to fell trees.
And that leaves Taako with the Water-type. I mean, he does have an umbrella. Taakumbra, Swumteevee, and Abracamongoose. They channel mystical energy through their tail, granting them the Psychic typing. They can manipulate the water that collects on their hat.
This was actually a lot of fun to come up with, and good practice for studying the pokemon art style. Definitely gave me a better handle on how they do their shading and whatnot

I hc that Toliver actually doesn’t emote or gesture a lot. But then in his conversation with Devo he has those little outbursts of emotions and raw expression and we see him absolutely unhinged

If u draw this fictional podcast character with little visual description different from what I think they look like you are clearly a bad artist and terrible person. Also you’re wrong and you know you’re wrong in your art and you’re just a coward to admit it.
The tribunal of fandom jesters will judge upon your taste and make you feel unwelcome if you don’t succumb to the common visual interpretations of an audio medium that everyone is encouraged to make their own visuals for regardless of canon descriptions. How dare your Head not picture this character like my brain does! [/sarcasm]

For real though:
Y'know these types of posts and wordings make people anxious to participate in Fandom or to seek out other people to talk to about fandom at all.
It’s already hard enough for many when you have nobody in your real life to share your interests and thoughts with and have to keep them to yourself.
Only then to discover that apparently even in spaces you should be safe to explore your visions and ideas with others, you risk getting ostracised when not conforming to some sort of swarm intelligence about fucking podcast character designs.
That said: you’re allowed to dislike art styles and character designs! But maybe don’t make postings using phrases that make it look like people are wrong for envisioning characters differently.
