On floating swings
We were ascending to the sky
Always practicing our wings
As miracle after miracle went by

On spinning carousels
We circled the whole world
Fleeing from our small town cells
As our minds and bodies swirled

On blankets in a starry night
We set our intertwined souls free
Dreaming up adventures under the starlight
That’s before “us” had become “me”

You don’t ever have to forgive someone who wronged you to ease their own guilt. It is perfectly fine to not accept someone’s apology when they ask for forgiveness. You can not forgive someone AND still move on. Anyone who tells you differently is wrong.

You are not entitled to give anyone your forgiveness if they hurt you. You can still live a happy, fulfilling life without giving someone the forgiveness they want.
