I forgive a lot, but I never forget what’s said and done.
You don’t ever have to forgive someone who wronged you to ease their own guilt. It is perfectly fine to not accept someone’s apology when they ask for forgiveness. You can not forgive someone AND still move on. Anyone who tells you differently is wrong.
You are not entitled to give anyone your forgiveness if they hurt you. You can still live a happy, fulfilling life without giving someone the forgiveness they want.
I choose to let go and embrace the magic of this new day

Honestly, I’m still working on this. Some people are so much harder to forgive. I know I need to. I know that holding onto it is very unhealthy. I’ve always struggled with the ‘but their actions were so deplorable & unforgivable’. I’m big into justice & what’s right & good people being recognized for their goodness. My skin crawls & my blood boils when 'bad’ people get ahead or get over good people. *sigh* Ok. I decided I wanted to make my own paper cut version of a book cover for John Green’s ‘Looking for Alaska’. It’s based on a combination of the labyrinth idea within the book and the white flowers which are so significant.
