There was a nervous clearing of the throat and the assembled guests turned to see the semi shy figure perched on the stairwell.
“L-ladies and gentlemen,” he began nervously, “your host for the evening invites you to the upper levels for a uh… specialpresentation… if you’ll follow me this way please…”
Having made it through his little speech the boy turned sharply and began acending back the way he came, all to aware of every pair of eyes drawn to his form… and dutifully following him as instructed…
