It took forever, but my shop is finally updated!! All items are available on Etsy. Once again, it’s been a minute! However, I’ve been trying to adjust my life and figure out what kind of schedule works out the best for me in regards to my ADHD, how I can juggle making product, etc.
The biggest news points:
I AM CHANGING THE NAME OF THE STORE! I will still mainly fix masks for now, but as interest in masks winds further and further down (I hope) I want to focus on other items. I’m going to be listing embroidery, hopefully selling embroidery patterns at some point, and my brother has asked that I create accessories for action figures. I will be changing the name of the store/all social media from Maskcare for AlltoWunder Threads.
I got a Tiktok. I’ll be posting some quick tutorials on how things are made, and if there’s enough interest for in depth information I’ll make a Youtube for that sort of things. You can find the Wunder Threads tiktok here. (I literally just started it a few days ago)

Okay so I forgot to take a picture of this mask before I used it and then it was INSANE and I needed to blog about it so uh, I’m using the pic from the Beauteque page. >_>
Anyway, check out this totally normal looking NOHJ Black Intracell Boosting Mask. Looks like a normal sheet mask, right? So normal I didn’t even look at the back, I just ripped it open and slapped it on my face. The sheet itself is black so I figured that was the special thing here.
Lol, no.
About 30 seconds later it started foaming up. Like remember the Elizavecca Milky Piggy foaming mask? Like that, except it was a sheet mask and it was happening on both sides of the sheet. So obvi I started rubbing at it to see if that would make it happen more and surprise, it did.
That’s when I went and fished the package out of the trash to read the back and noticed that it says wash off mask really clearly on there. Ooops?
Anyways, this is an exfoliating/moisturizing mask that surprise foams. You can help it along with your fingers, and when you’re ready, remove the mask, rub the foam/bubbles in some more and then rinse it all off. It’s really lovely and fun! And also surprising if you don’t read the package! I’m into it, okay?
I’ve been debating whether or not to try this mask for a few months now and finally caved and picked one up at Yonge & Finch this weekend. How can you turn down something that looks this freaky and is called the Dr. Jart+ Moist Lover Rubber Mask???? I had houseguests. We took photos. It was a whole thing.
Ngl I was a little hoping this would be like a CareLab pudding mask or one of those ones that comes in a cup and turns rubbery as it dries, but as you can probably tell from the packaging this is actually a rubbery mask you put on over top of a first step.
To start, there’s a little tub with a mask inside. This is a milky-white coloured, barely translucent and very gelatinous goo. Yeah, that’s the technical term. Goo. I actually had trouble applying it because it was so jelly-like and some of it just fell right off my face and into the sink. Shrug life.
Then you apply the ‘rubber’ mask, which is bright blue like the picture, but actually comes in two pieces, top and bottom. It feels like silicone, really, and super weird.
While I waited, the blue mask felt cool to the touch but my face itself felt really warm. “Probably because it can’t breath,” my friend said unhelpfully. I left this on for a good 15 minutes , removed it, chucked the blue part, and then thoroughly washed my face before doing my normal skincare routine.
This mask is like 10$ and super weird. I don’t actually know how I feel about it other than this is fun when you have guests sleeping over and also doing dumb masks.

We really just accepted that “yeah, every several months we just feel like shit and do nothing but lay in bed for a week while so much snot pours out of our face holes that we have to keep 27 wads of tissue within arm’s reach” even though the solution was not only simple and easy but also offered infinite possibilities for fashionable accessorizing. I hate it here
i’m never going to stop wearing a mask in the winter time because 1) colds and flu, obviously 2) my lips don’t get chapped and bleed in the winter anymore. This is revolutionary. 3) it’s actually just common sense to wear a badass goth wolf skull mask in your day to day life??
now I can wear whatever clothes I want and people will still know I’m cool and goth

1) that’s not how the immune system works. 2) masking killed some strains of the flu because there was no one to pass it on to. we have the ability to MAKE VIRUSES EXTINCT with masks but oh noooo we have to worry about a piece of fabric on our faces. spare me.
I’m all for wearing masks to get through this pandemic but I feel, as usual, we’re all underestimating the catastrophic impact masks are having on the environment. The overwhelming majority of face masks are disposed of after one single use, discarded as unrecyclable material. According to a recent study, plastic pollution has risen 9000% because of face masks.
So, I’m getting lots of messages about the masks. I made them for all my family&Co and I don’t have flat elastic anymore so the next ones will be with thin round one.
I’m printing them on microfibre fabric, they have two layers plus a filter pocket. I washed mine in 95C and it still looks ok so they can survive a lot. The bottom length is 19cm.
I can make them either with autobot / decepticon designs or with any of my drawings from tumblr :) I will need about a week to make and send it.
