#february
i’m trying to live and not be afraid of life.
also made a playlist for february and honestly my playlist for january i wanted to be positive and happy but life is not like that just because it’s a new year doesn’t mean it’s going to be happy. SO i made this playlist and admitting that i’m scared of life more than death, but i’m trying and that’s all i can do.
it would mean so much if you could check it out and give it a listen maybe you can relate. thank you!! :)
to celebrate black history month i’d like to bring some light to this film, black girl (1966)
this true story was made as a film in 1966 by
Ousmane Sembène, and is thought to be the first saharan african film made by and african director to get international attention. above is featured Mbissine Thérèse Diop playing the role of a french made working for a white couple and dealing with the hardships of being a black woman in 60s france.
