Menswear is nothing without the prince of fashion Marc Jacobs. He always has editors and celebrities planning their schedule around his show, who wouldn’t? And his Spring 2013 show was no exemption. This collection has a very Mad Men feel every man on the show could definitely have this collection in his closet, but we know this was made for Mr. Draper. From all the suits and separates Marc knocked it out of the park. And you can’t talk about Marc Jacobs without talking about accessories from the fedoras, shoes, sunglasses, and bags it has such a modern vintage feel. With a wide range of the color spectrum he includes a ton of neutrals, amazing prints, and some bold brights & stripes, but of course what is Marc Jacobs without sharps lines and a super clean finish. Some of my personal favorite looks include the camel colored suit and trench coat, it’s perfection, and every man needs to own this, no questions. Next favorite look is this summer in the Hamptons look, the printed shorts, polo, and topped off with the fedora is what makes menswear. It has the classic items (polo, fedora, and shoes) and then these printed shorts are thrown in to give it a modern take (very Nick Wooster). And lastly is this classic double-breasted off white tux, like what? It makes me sick; lines are super crisp and clean and the bow tie I’m sold. There so much more to this collection, this is the reason why Marc Jacobs is in fashion. This collection has everything you need, windowpane suit, navy suit, trench coats, printed knit sweater, jackets (bomber), stripes, and killer prints. It’s ridiculous how amazing spring can be.
