#final post
Now that the Gumroad is finally closed, and all the money is counted up, the mods of the Milestones Zine are thrilled to announce that we MORE than broke even - the zine made almost $500 USD in surplus!* Thank you SO much to everyone who bought the Zine, and to all our contributors, without whom this would not have been possible.
(*note: $25 USD belonged to the mod who owned the account - an amount which was required to open the account in the first place. It has been deducted from the donated amount and returned to the mod in question.)
THUS, as planned for a surplus, we chose to donate the excess money. The mods decided, in light of the COVID-19 crisis and the international , that we would like to donate to Doctors Without Borders (link to their site).
However, we wanted approval from our contributors before making any final decisions, and sent out a survey accordingly! The results were as follows:
Because the majority of respondents approved of this charity selection, we went ahead and made our contribution: a whopping $482.53 USD! Attached is a screencap of the thank-you from DWB.
Again: thank you SO much for every purchase, pageview, reblog, and retweet given to our zine. And again, from the Zine mods: thank you SO much to the contributors that made this zine and the ensuing donation possible. You all are wonderful, you made this zine an incredible experience, made a final product that was beautiful, and allowed an end result of donation of nearly $500 USD to Doctors Without Borders.
Signing off,
the Mods of the Milestones Zine.
SO
A majority of these posts are being marked as explicit. The only other place I’ll ever post is on twitter. I honestly post more on there anyway since this site sucks.
So again:
I’m no longer posting here, tumblr has been flagging all my posts. Twitter is the way 2 go.
RIP
This blog should now be considered inactive. I’ll keep it up for the sake of posterity and preserving the massive archive of posts, but it’ll be no longer updated. Podcast updates can be found on the Facebook page.
Thanks for the memories.
Hello everyone!
We’re happy to announce that we made 548.84 Euro in total for our chosen charity, Aide et Action! Below you can find screenshots of the receipts! We had to donate two times due to some issues with PayPal, once 448.84 Euro and 100 Euro second.
With this, the project has officially come to an end. We’re completely blown away by how much we’ve made together! We thank you one final time for your support and we want to thank our participants as well for sticking with us till the very end. Without any of you this would not have been possible!
Finally, as a reminder, we will not be answering any more asks, post anything new or etc. This tumblr blog and our twitter will serve as an archive for this project for anyone who wants to look through everything! Leftovers of the leftovers will be sold during cons and the money for it will be left alone and given to charity whenever mod Looveel decides to donate again.
And now, for the final time, thank you for your support and patience!
Yours truly,
Zinestiria mods, Looveel and Crazay
We want to say thank you to our writers & artists who worked so hard to make the World of Ruin Big Bang a successful event. Without your dedication & hard work, this project would not have been anywhere near as fun as it was. Thank you to the many people who followed the event.
Now that the event is over, our social media and email address will be dormant. For your easy reference, our three round up posts are linked below:
Again–thank you so much to everyone who made this event possible. It was a long road from start to finish, but we came out of it with a fantastic set of stories and art.
Thank you for joining us, and we wish you all the best with your future fandom endeavors.
–The Mods
Hello everyone, this is Mod Danny once again!
Before I retire from this blog, I’d like to share a few things so that you guys can get a proper sense of closure.
To start off, I have to say I’m very impressed with how well this blog has done! It was so wonderful to learn that Tumblr has several wonderful Catholic users, & I hope I succeeded in helping you guys come together & helping you realize that you’re not alone in this great big world wide web!
It was also a lot of fun discovering the various wonderful celebrities & fictional characters who share our faith. I especially would like to thank all of those who even shared some celebrities/characters through the ask box. Thank you, those contributions have been very helpful! So, to make it easy for you guys, if you want to check to see if a celebrity or character you like is Catholic, you can visit the archive here. (Fair warning: a few of them are April Fool’s jokes, so be wary of those ones.) Hopefully you guys will check that out & find someone you admire who shares your faith.
Overall, I think I did a great job bringing Catholics together, & I also hope I’ve helped some of you rediscover the faith & see it for how great it is!
Anyway, here’s something I should let you guys in on: even though this blog has been retired, I am leaving the inbox open in case you’d like to share some interesting stuff with me or ask me questions. However, I will be disabling the anon feature, so that way I can respond to you privately.
I’m also going to share some links with you in case you’d like to find me in other places, in case you’re interested:

Before I close this farewell post, I’d like to share some wisdom with you guys to help you all going forward:
1. Please always do your best to be kind & respectful to all those around you, even if they don’t believe the same things we do or if they’ve forgotten some things on their spiritual journeys. I now it can sometimes be hard, but believe me wen I say there’s nothing more rewarding than being kind to others! Plus, our Lord Jesus commands that we do this: “Do unto others as I have done unto thee” & “Love thy neighbor as I have loved thee”. Plus, at the end of the day, we don’t know what other people are going through, so it’s just best to be that bit of sunshine in the lives of others, whether it’s a famous person or not.
2. Please don’t ever forget that it is NEVER too late to ask for forgiveness & for God’s love & mercy. I now we should always strive to be as good as we possibly can & to value our rules & beliefs, but we are still human & we’ll probably make several mistakes during our journey that we call life. But even so, if you do stumble & sin, remember that it’s not the end of the world – you will be forgiven if you are truly sorry. So don’t ever be shy & take full advantage of confession whenever you can.
3. Finally, please remember that, no matter how alone you may feel with yourself or with your faith, YOU ARE NEVER ALONE! For one thing, God is always with you & He loves you! Additionally, as this blog has proven through its posts & those who follow it, there are other wonderful Catholics out in the world, & thus you’ll never be alone in your faith!
Anyway, that’s all I have to say. Thank you guys so much for all of your great support, & I hope you continue loving one another & loving the Catholic faith. May God bless you, & hopefully I’ll see you around!

Due to certain reasons this account is now closed. Thank you for nearly 4 years of your support both new & old followers, I am super grateful for every single one of you who share the same love for Jhené as I do. It’s been messy, inactive and hard at times but nonetheless super grateful to look back and see how much this account has grown & how much I have grown as a person too.
Thank you for staying, sending you all an abundance of love on lifes many trips!
