For Portals Zine:
1) This illustration is based off Patti Smith’s “Wave” album cover and song “Fredrick”.
2) These scanned drawings were taken from an old sketchbook, which kept her company during her long bus rides. It was her first autumn in London and it was sort of surreal to see all the life and greenery fade so quickly. While the fallen leaves looked beautiful, the cold air was a somber reminder winter was approaching.
