Where On Earth Is Carmen Sandiego

One day I was Google image searching for the Where On Earth logo and discovered the highest quality you can find is a blurry and washed out capture from the almost-VHS-quality DVD release.

Even the DVD packaging is actually blurry art with retypeset text. Somehow even the rights owners didn’t have a high quality copy of this amazing Bill Sienkiewicz illustrated logo.

So when I spotted an oversized magazine ad on EBay, I bought it just to get a good scan. This is now the highest quality version of this logo anywhere on the internet. Enjoy.

Jetix(formerly Fox Kids in Europe, Latin America and North America) was a worldwide children’s television programming brand owned by Jetix Europe, Jetix Latin America and ABC Cable Networks Group (The Walt Disney Company). The Jetix brand was used for children’s blocks and channels featuring action-related and adventure-related live-action and animated programming, most of which aired on Fox Kids.

Disney started to retire the Jetix brand in 2009 and replaced it with Disney XD, an accordance to the company’s focus on its Disney, ABC, and ESPN brands. The last remaining Jetix in the world, in Russia, was replaced by Disney Channel on August 10, 2010.

The second new program introduction following the last month’s issue.  The previously published works will also be delivered in the Kiddy Land version.  From the popular “Sukeban Detectives II” to the quick-minded “Robotan”, please fully enjoy it.

More programs showcased in the Kiddly TV Land section of the 11/1985 issue of Newtype include, Sukeban Deka II, Robotan, The Smurfs, High School! Kimengumi, Dream Star Button Nose (aka Button Nose) and Fist of the North Star.

I know some of you all remember Button Nose. Fox Kids had it in the mid 90′s and it was trash.
