Rey listened patiently as Ben slowly unwound memories from a life almost forgotten — stories of his dad and the Falcon, his nightmares of BX, of what happened at the Academy, and how much he missed his mother. His words painted the loneliness of his childhood; a loneliness Rey understood all too well. She reached for Ben’s hand and he smiled.

I’m breaking the hiatus to say something in relation to a post that’s been going around:
There is no “““canon Shepard”““, the fandom never agreed to have a canon Shepard. People have multiple Shepards + Shepard siblings/relatives that live in the same universe. You don’t speak for everyone. There was never a canon Shepard and there never will be a canon Shepard, because you create your own Shepard, you shape their personality and you do whatever you want with your Shepard. Everyone’s Shepard is different and we should embrace that instead of dictating people how to interpret a character that it’s meant to be unique to every person.
A little after midnight I was rushed to the hospital, screaming and vomiting, because I had a kidney stone tearing through me. I was there from around 1a-10a the next morning. On my actual birthday. And it took 2 days for it to finally be over.
