Bc this man doesn’t get enough love
- This goes without saying but he is the glue holding the Woodland Realm together. Seriously, everything would fall apart without him there.
- While his official title is Head Butler, in reality he takes on many roles including but not limited to: nanny, thraduil’s personal assistant, therapist, Thranduil’s babysitter (no, he’s not babysitting for thranduil, he is babysitting thranduil), and nursemaid
- He is older than Thranduil and will use that to his advantage when his ill-tempered king is being particularly bratty (”Now listen here young man!”)
- that said, after Oropher’s death he became kind of a pseudo-surrogate father-figure to thranduil and was basically his rock during his grieving process. He still acts very paternal towards Thranduil and is very protective of him.
- He is just as sassy as Thranduil
@orsuliya you are absolutely correct in every way shape and form. Thranduil was born talented in the art of sassy quips and retorts, Galion just nurtured that talent and showed him how to hone his craft with the help of a master.
