Conspiracist is my new RPG about Illuminati henchmen pulling off insane conspiracies. It’s designed for impromptu one-shots, and includes a paranoid mission generation system to get games off the ground fast. Here’s how it works:
1. The Controller (GM) gives the players a cryptic mission briefing from their Illuminati masters. This could be literally anything: a random YouTube video, a strange poem, or something even more abstract, like a hand of poker cards.
2. The players make logical connections with information in the briefing until they come to a conclusion about what their assignment is.
3. The PCs embark on their mission.
Here’s an example from the rulebook:
Conspiracist is pending publishing in May as a pay-what-you-want title. If you want to support this game or learn more about me as a game designer, check our my Patreon page. If you’d like to get notified when the game comes out, shoot me an email at [email protected]

Warhammer 40k but every time a piece dies you have to write a short story about its grieving family.
(yes Necrons, Tyranids and Daemons have families, they were all stood just to the left in all the stories)

for instance how fucked-uply appropriate it is that the single unavoidable side effect of using 8F for code injection is that it erases your name
not, like, replaces it with gibberish, just straight-up erases it, and that’s the only side effect if you know what you’re doing
I mean, burning away your name as part of a powerful magic ritual is something I’d expect someone to come up with on purpose
