Hay que perder para ganar…
Esta tarde me dedique a escribir este texto que en lo personal me parecio muy padre como quedo, no se ustedes, a veces se me da por pensar cada cosa y sobre eso escribir cosas y dice asi…
Hay que perder, soltar aquello que no nos hace bien, aunque sea algo por lo que luchamos y creímos tiempo atrás. No se puede estar todo el tiempo hablando de los sufrimientos e injusticias que vivimos, tenemos que estar dispuestos a soltar, dejar atrás… perder para ganar.
Claro que vas a sufrir, vas a llorar, pero ¿qué vale más? Supondrá un tiempo en silencio, haciendo una limpieza interior para poder salir a la luz, para poder darle a la vida otra oportunidad y tratar de vivir en forma tranquila.
Por miedo a la soledad acabamos aferrándonos a los recuerdos, a lo que hemos ganado y a lo que llevamos tiempo guardando. Todo en la vida cuesta esfuerzo, por eso cuesta soltar y perder. Pero nada en esta vida nos pertenece, ni siquiera nuestra propia vida, todo es prestado, nada es eterno… por eso te invito a hacer esta reflexión: muchas veces debemos perder para levantarnos y ganar de nuevo.
Recuerden cómo era su vida antes que llegasen tantos problemas y el sufrimiento se anidase en sus corazones. ¿Dónde quedó esa persona que eras antes, con sueños de éxito y proyectos realizados? ¿Dónde está esa persona luchadora que más de alguna vez fue modelo a seguir para otras personas? ¿Qué fue de aquella persona con propósito y visión que una vez fuiste?
Vuelve a creer en ti…

This movie is personally the biggest movie for me!
Now that the recipients have received their gifts, I’m honoured to post the gift illustrations I worked on with @tinyhat. A recently opened floral shop in the village has two of the most adorable entrepreneurs running it – Mayor Breezy and Gaston! He’s cranky but he can’t help but light up in such pretty surroundings~
This was a delightful set to work on, I would visit their floral shop in a heartbeat. A happy early birthday to you, @breezycrossing!

Villains Unleashed!
Brittany, Cassidy, Stefani, and I all went to Villains Unleashed together and we all disneybounded! Brittany and I both channeled Mr. Smee from Peter Pan, while Cassidy was Peter Pan’s shadow, and Stefani was Mother Gothel.
We got to Hollywood Studios about an hour before the event actually started. We had to take a ridiculous detour to get there that we weren’t told about, but we did get there eventually. We took a few pictures then jumped on Rockin Rollercoaster since the wait time was so short. Then we walked over to the stage, renamed Hade’s Hangout for the night, and waited for the show to start.
It was insanely crowded and I’ve heard that they over sold tickets. In the opening show they introduced Hades, who with the help of Meg and his minions, Pain and Panic, had taken over Hollywood Studios for the night. Then they introduced all 50 villains including the Big Bad Wolf, Frollo, Shan Yu, Maleficent, and 14 Star Wars villains. After the opening show was over, we rushed to meet Maleficent, but her line was already three hours long by the time we got there, so we opted not to wait for her.
Cassidy and I went to take pictures with Gantu, from Lilo and Stitch, and we had to wait an hour. It was crazy, and it didn’t help that people kept cutting in line. Meanwhile, Stefani and Brittany went to go buy t shirts for all of us. There was only one store that had merch specifically for the event and the line looked absolutely nuts. After we met Gantu, Cassidy went to get all of us Maleficent cupcakes while I waited in line to meet the Evil Queen from Snow White.
I was so excited to meet the Evil Queen, my heart was racing! But it turned out to be pretty disappointing. I had seen videos of people meeting her and they had such fun interactions, but she didn’t say much to me. Maybe because it was so crowded and she needed to meet as many people as possible, or maybe she just wasn’t feel talkative.
When I was finished I tried to meet back up with Stef, Cass, and Britt, but I couldn’t stay still! So much was going on and I felt like I was missing out on it if I stayed in one place, so I wandered while they tried to find me. I ended up running into Stromboli from Pinocchio and Gaston from Beauty and The Beast! Gaston was amazing. I mentioned to him that I was single and since we were both so gorgeous, we would make a lovely couple. We’re basically in love.
Stefani ended up finding me while I was meeting Gaston, so we got our little group back together. We walked around a bit and went to “Oogie Boogie’s Freaky Funhouse Show” which was…freaky. I mean, really freaky. We left a few minutes before it was over because none of us were really enjoying it, and went on Tower of Terror. There was practically no wait time, so we walked right on!
Then we watched the fireworks from Sunset Blvd. It wasn’t the best view, but there was no way we wanted to fight the crowd.
Was it worth $72? Maybe not. But would I go again? Probably. It’s only the second time Disney has done something like this, and it seems like they underestimate how popular villains are. From what I’ve heard, this one was ten times better than the last time, which means the next time will be ten times better than this time. Hopefully Disney will realize how loved villains are and make some sort of permanent event or show or area for them!
