Olaf appreciation post
week seven: oh the places you go and the people you meet
If this review comes off as boring, my apologies, as the only reason it might be would be because I was equally as bored sitting through this film. Jobs starts off shaky (do I really want or need to see Ashton Kutcher on an LSD trip?), and never really gets its footing at any point throughout the film. The one stand out for me was Josh Gad, which is bad news for the filmmakers as I would have much rather been sitting in the theater watching a film called “Woz’ that focused on his story as opposed to that of Steve Jobs. Kutcher wasn’t bad, so don’t assume the problem with the film has everything to do with him (although that would be a fair assumption). The script is just as bland as can be, and knowing that Aaron Sorkin is working on his own script detailing the same events, it just makes me wish I had held off on even seeing this film all together as I have no doubt that his project, if anything else, will be a far more entertaining film to watch.
GRADE
It would have been so fitting to give Josh Gad a small reprise of ‘Evermore’ about Gaston to highlight the 'gay’ they harped on about…
I mean a three second waltz…pfft
Disney’s problem with Frozen 2 is that they didn’t account for the hundreds of parents who now have to watch their kids try to imitate Idina Menzel’s voice
It’s a tough ask for a sequel to be as good, or better than its predecessor. Obviously Disney is resting high hopes on Frozen 2 to be as big as the original 2013 film, and box office numbers so far are already looking promising with $127 million in the US and a worldwide launch of $350 million and it’s not even out in all territories yet. But putting dollars aside, this movie needs to continue…
I watched “Central Park” and the Duo of Andrew and Josh inspired me to do this art
Happy birthday to #JoshGad, who I basically only know as #Olaffrom#Frozen, LOL. I thought Olaf was pretty hilarious in the first movie, but after that he got a little (ok, a lot) tiresome. A little bit goes a long way.
