My single Look for our Twisted Disney Villains Collab!
Not a masterpiece I guess… but I like it anyway!
life is too busy right now and i have had less than 1 hour to create this, so i needed to hurry up a bit…
but I really wish there was time for more details!
…and to block the damn eyebrows a bit better….
Used @mehronmakeup for the Chestpiece and also a dark brown eyeshadow from my ebay palette for the shading and nyx jumbo pencil for the highlights…
I put some dark green eyeshadow on my lids covered with mehron glitter in green..
Foundation, Contouring and Eyliner are @nyxgermany
Lips @maybelline Siren in Scarlet
Fake brows and Nose are also done with black paradise paint from mehron and @essence_cosmetics eyeshadow in black..
Hair is @mehronmakeup liquid’s in white and black

While waiting to see #cruella, I prepared a quick fan art inspired by the movie trailer
look i hate disney as much as the next guy, but cruella 2021 kinda slaps ngl
i think the most important thing to know is that this isn’t a bunch of people being like “let’s make a direct prequel for 101 dalmatians to explain why cruella likes skinning dalmatians and why she’s hashtag misunderstood”
it’s much more like “hey remember the crazy lady with the weird hair from that movie you watched twice as a kid? let’s do a batshit heist/devil wears prada movie vaguely inspired by her with a few goofy dalmatian references and some shared characters and basically nothing else to do with the original”
like do the dalmatians chase the mom off a cliff? yes
does this motivate cruella to hate dalmatians? no.
does this motivate her to want to kill them, skin them, or blame them for her mother’s death? no.
in fact, she blames herself, then the baroness, and ends up adopting the dalmatians with no intention of skinning them or any other dogs
is it still a goofy writing decision? absolutely. but it’s a goofy decision in a fun, goofy movie from a group of filmmakers about a thousand times more creative and interesting than those behind any of the other live action disney movies that i’ve seen
tbh i’d rather see a wacky batshit off-the-rails reimagining that at least makes SOME interesting decisions than a shot-by-shot remake like lion king 2019

I won’t be different - “Cruella” is a very satisfying movie.
And now it’s on Disney Plus free of charge so I could watch it again.
The idea for the drawing was quite obvious. As the second film will be made, I am curious if Emma Stone will be visually even closer to the “101 Dalmatians” version. What do you think?

Ella De Vile, the (not canon) older sister of Carlos De Vile..
I took one look at the concept art for the descendants main and instantly thought that Ella could very well be an older sister to Carlos.
I didn’t change her design as much other than altering skin tone/shirt/pants
I did this for fun so I don’t really have anything set for her.. but I did think about her being the main inspiration for Evie

I finished Cruella’s THE PAST imperial gown last night and I can’t describe how emotional I am about it. The moment this gown appeared in the trailer, I fell head over heels. The statement! Vivienne Westwood x Alexander McQueen! The empress establishing her conquered empire!
I reinterpreted a few things with my rendition. The large petals are now large organza pleats - 810 yards worth. I changed the silver belt to a sash of safety pins; it was something young Estella would adorn on herself as well as frequent fashion statement from the 70’s punk era.
My favorite part of this entire ensemble are the epaulettes, which I had the best time making with all of the variety of trims and figurines, and “The Past” banner. Like Cruella, I adorned this jacket with any trinkets I had, and made the entire thing in a short time frame and CHAOTICALLY.
This is the first costume I’ve made with my new @janomeamerica machine. And it’s been a whole blessing to have. Without it, I wouldn’t have completed it as fast as I did with all of its features. Thank you Janome for making such a trooper.
