Related to problem #3168, as someone who is bi, I agree as there are some people in the fandom who really do think that making a character LGBT “improves” their character. I have no problems with LGBT headcanons as I wrote some myself as well, I just don’t want to see people going to war over a sexuality headcanon.
The eyerolling arrogance of minors on a 17+ website in adult fandoms screaming at adults for being in their space.
And thats ontop of shoving their way into everything including their feet into their mouths instead of lurking and learning the ropes. And then they attack adults for not coddling them.

The Dream SMP community on Twitter is one of the saddest, most hypocritical communities I’ve ever seen. Telling each other to off themselves over opinions, harassing horror artists because ‘Your Art Triggered My Fictive Alter’. I’d like to see them go into any other community and try to pull the same things.

In Season 2 of a show I watch, the lead female was revealed to be bisexual, and the showrunner has confirmed she’ll have a girlfriend in Season 3. I’m all for this, but I worry about fans treating it as her sole defining trait.

Fandom problem: some folks really form a superiority/victim complex over wanting to ship pedo and incest ships and get upset when normal ass people say it’s gross as fuck
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with headcanons but the problem starts when it’s supposed to be the only interpretation and the right one. Also, it’s not a good look when you insist every feminine guy is a trans girl. Do you know what it looks like when you call every woman who is even slightly masculine a trans man? It gives off the sense that you think women can’t be strong and those who are aren’t actually women. The same applies here. It makes it seems like you think men can’t be feminine and the only ones who can be feminine are actually women. This also reinforces archaic gender roles which I thought we’ve long moved past.
If you want to headcanon every feminine guy as trans woman, more power to you but please stop calling people transphobes for not interpreting the character the same way when it’s not canon that they’re trans.
Things I’ve seen antis do: Call a Chinese author racist for talking about Japan’s atrocities in China. Attack a CSA survivor for writing a fictionalised account of her abuse. Say an Egyptian actor is ‘white’ and has no right to play an Egyptian character. Harrass people over their headcanons about fictional characters. Things I’ve never seen antis do: literally anything to help the people or causes they say they care about.
