one of the most prominent qualities of wwx and lwj’s relationship in cql is the palpable relief they project when they interact. it doesn’t even have to be in dire circumstances; they just see each other somewhere unexpected, or one of them makes a bid for the other’s attention, or they help or reassure one another that things are still good between them, and there’s this sense that they’re looking at one another and going, oh. it’s okay, because he’s here, and if that part is covered then we can deal with the rest. that’s one of the best spices in this soup imo
Some of the men yall tag as dilfs are SHAMEFUL. I was looking for dilf memes (it is not important why) and all I see is a parade of rosy-cheeked unblemished dandy men. Slapping a beard on a 26 year old in a suit is not a dilf, you are besmirching the title. There is a recipe, a Dilf Recipe. You do not need all these ingredients but you must have AT LEAST three: a child/ward/apprentice of some sort, crows feet, laugh lines/frown lines, sun damage, gray hairs, dark circles, Depression, intriguing battle scars/injuries/missing limb, Divorced, body hair, a look in the eyes that screams for A Moment of Relief, etc etc. Like the bar is low. Ben Barnes is not a Dilf. Harry Styles with 5 o’clock shadow is not a dilf. TIMMY CHARDONNAY IS NOT A DILF. You are all WEAK your blood is WEAK put that man BACK IN THE OVEN UNTIL HES DONE THESE DUDES ARENT AL DENTE THEY ARE CRUNCHY AND DUNKED IN WATER PUT THEM BACK LET THEM COOK
one of the best things to come of my joining the Fellowship is my friendship with the elves!
Knowing I was saddened by Legolas’ words and actions, the Lady Galadriel and the most noble Haldir convinced me to remain just a little longer with them to refresh my spirits. I now set off for the Shire in a much better mood. And hopefully that will make me a much better house-guest for Master Samwise.
It took a long time and a lot of effort from all the people involved, but we’ve finished it!! I’ve always wanted to do a MAP, and this is the first one I’ve hosted.
