A lot of people requested that I tackle more Hades fanart designs for the remaining Olympians, which is a really fun challenge to undertake! Thank you all for your positive response to my Apollo and Hector designs. <3

This time around, I wanted to take on designing Hestia.  The challenge this time around was trying to give her very much her own distinct design feel that suited her as a goddess, but also had some design elements that would key in that she’s related to Demeter, so that was the approach I took. :D

Long hair Hypnos. He takes after both Nyx and Chaos, so his hair contains multitudes.

I’ve had a few people encourage me to do more designs for some of the gods we didn’t get to see in Hades – I definitely plan to!  But first, I really wanted to do a little fanart for my favorite Trojan prince, Hector.

My next design will be for Hestia. <3

Thank you all for the enthusiastic response to my Apollo design!  Today as thanks, I bring you baby Charon.  I picture him looking like Vivi from FF9, so of course I had to draw it.

I know about a million people have already done Hades fanart designs for the remaining Olympians, but I really wanted to take my own pass at the golden boy, Apollo.  SUPERGIANT PLS JUST ADD HIM.

The Hades art style is a really fun challenge to work with – I ended up having to fully redo my flats AND shading from start to finish because my first pass had too many granular/clean shading details and the shadows just weren’t deep enough.  I’m used to working in a way brighter, more saturated palette, so trying to get closer to a different art style made for a nice way to get out of my comfort zone.
