Thoughts on some choice characters from the first two seasons of Haikyu!! I’ve watched.
Shoyo- Sweet hyperactive knucklehead ninja volleyball lover. His energy is infectious and secretly terrifying. 7/10.
Tobio- Hated him at first but-but I grew to love his secret dorkiness and the uncreative insults ie ‘buttwipe’ he calls Shoyo is peak dumbass energy. 8/10.
Daichi- Oh, oh this man. He does something to me. Supportive captain that’s a powerhouse in his own right that knows how to push everyone’s buttons to get them pumped up? 9/10.
Yu- I kin this 5'2 dumbass. Again, his energy is infectious and I adore his and Ryunosuke’s antics over Kiyoko. Rolling Thunder makes me laugh every time. 8.5/10.
Kuroo-LOVE OF MY FUCKING LIFE. The hair, the smirk, the Oya, loved every second he was on screen. Better have more or I’m gonna be mad. 10/10.
Oikawa- Despise him, everything about him. I hate him with every fiber of my being. Wanna punch this arrogant ladies man in the face, Tobio is superior. 9/10.
Bokuto- I really, really thought I’d hate him. I really did. Goofy boy, silly boy, stupid boy, baby boy. With his random bouts of depression mid game? Getting smacked in the face by balls? My other kin. 10/10.
Yuji- Random ass boi. The hair? Perfect. The stance? Powerful. The tongue piercing? Immaculate. Literal embodiment of copy cat and I stan him. 7/10.
