This happened tonight. I will take it in english here so everyone can understand what horrible thing that just happened.

The BJJ-gym Stark Jiu-Jitsu got attacked last night. Someone threw in a incendiary bomb thru their window. Luckly no one got hurt. But the whole gym got destroyed. Nothing is known about the motive yet, but it is not only an attack against Stark, but also against the whole jiu-jitsu-community.

Stark is also a rather new and small gym so they need support from the BJJ-community to get back on their feet again. Please donate to their gofundme in the link below if you can spare any money, big or small.

Happy women’s day, from me and my flowering damson tree. I’m just back to work after almost a week looking after a sick toddler, thankfully she’s almost back to normal now. My husband is super involved and still all she wanted was mammy and boobie and my life stopped to look after her. I don’t at all begrudge her it, but it does shine a light on the extra caring work women, not just mothers, often have to do and I think I can safely say that the last 2 years of pandemic etc have placed a lot more on many women. Abd with economic uncertainty it feels everywhere, climate catastrophe and war in so many places, more and more will be asked of us all so honestly it doesn’t feel like a very happy women’s day. Well this took a turn … so by all means let’s celebrate women today and everyday, but also if you can do anything practically to help any woman anywhere then please do. Helping each other is the only way women and everyone else are going to get through it all, so let’s do it.
