Why is there a Witch flying on Christmas?

@helltalia-inc To answer your question, Italy has a Christmas witch instead of Santa Claus. At least that’s my limited knowledge about Italian Christmas.

@helltalia-inc Her name is La befana! She’s looking for baby jesus like the magi, but because she couldn’t find him back then, she now just gets every kid a present at the 6th of January in case one of them is baby jesus :) I’m not Italian, but that’s the gist I’m aware of. Also, my Italian teacher INSISTED La befana is not a witch but. If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck, I am pretty sure it’s a duck.
