Ok so listen. This isn’t really a “secret” Hozier song for some people, and actually, it’s a cover of Otis Rush and His Band’s (1949-1952?) song “My Love Will Never Die”.
I was looking at Hozier’s discography the other day and found that this song was released on the vinyl version of the “In The Woods Somewhere EP”.
The vinyl version of some of his EPs from the beginning of his career are super rare, and this cover isn’t available for digital streaming (at least not in the US/not anymore.)
So here it is! I know a lot of fans are already craving new music from Hozier, but luckily we’ve been blessed with a lot of [unknown] covers he’s done which can almost feel like new music to us! This one is good for a gloomy day or rainy train/bus ride:
