“Cimitero Delle Fontanelle” is a cemetery that takes its name from the rivers which ran under the town of Naples. It contains over 40.000 remains of people who died during the plagues of 1656 and 1836. It became famous because of “anime pezzentelle” (beggars souls) The practice consisted in the “adoption” of a skull and praying for its soul in return of protection.
We open with Jess Mariano-lite in therapy, telling his doctor about his ability to electrocute things.
The doctor doesn’t take the bait, but instead continues to dive deeper into why this future serial killer is the way he is. The kid tells the doctor that he doesn’t want to kill, but the Yellow Eyed Man tells him to. He has plans for him. Then a little bit later, he gets gutted by an unseen assailant by the side of his car.
We then pick up with Sam and Dean where we left off in the last episode. Dean confesses to Sam that John told Dean to save Sam or he’ll have to kill him. Sam is all WTF?
The brothers get super pissy with each other over something their FATHER DID. Sam wants to figure it all out –have a plan. Dean thinks they should lay low so he can protect Sam. Dean begs with Sam to give him a little time. Sam agrees.
That night, Sam hijacks a car and heads to an abandoned address. Inside the building, he trips a wire and sets off a grenade. And it’s Goodbye, Sammy!
